IIM Sirmaur admissions 2026: IIM Sirmaur will accept the IPMAT 2026 scores for admission to the BMS programme offered at the Indian Institute of Management, Sirmaur (IIM Sirmaur). The varsity will consider the Aptitude Test Scores (ATS) from the Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) for selecting the candidates for the BMS programme.
Bachelors in Management Studies (BMS) programme is aimed to train and educate the students in the basics of management education whilst making them industry ready. The BMS programme curriculum at IIM Sirmaur will be spread across four years and eight semesters.
IIM Sirmaur will likely release the IIM Sirmaur BMS application form 2026 in the first week of April 2026. IPMAT is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management, Indore. The exam was earlier conducted and accepted by only IIM Indore for admission to its give year intergrated programme in management. In the year 2022, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade started accepting IPMAT scores for admission to its integrated MBA programme. From the year 2023 onwards, many other institutes were added to the list which will also accept IPMAT scores conducted by IIM Indore. Institutes such as the Indian Institute of Ranchi, Alliance University, NICMAR University, Department of Management Studies, NALSAR University of Law, TA PAI Management Institute (TAPMI) and Institute of Management, Nirma University are also accepting the IPMAT scores for admission to the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM).
No, the admission fee for all the IIMs is different. Once the candidates clear the IPMAT exam, they will be allotted the colleges based on their rank and scores obtained in the IPMAT exam. The fee of IIM Indore is INR 35 Lacs and that for IIM Rohtak is INR 17.66 lakh.
IIM Sirmaur BMS Eligibility Criteria 2026
To be eligible to take admissions to IIM Sirmaur’s BMS programme, candidates should fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
- Candidates should have passed Class 12 from a recognized board
- Candidates should be a maximum of 20 years of age as of July 31, 2026
- The candidate should have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 10/SSC and Class 12/ HSC or equivalent examination in the case of the General and NC-OBC categories. (reserved categories will get 5% relaxation)

IPMAT is conducted by IIM Indore for admission to its IPM programme. The IPMAT Indore scores are also accepted by various other top Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). The colleges which accept IPMAT Indore scores include IIM Indore, IIM Ranchi, IIM Amritsar, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Shillong, etc. Each college releases its own IPMAT cutoff for admissions. Hence, there is not common admission test for the IPMAT admissions.
IIM Rohtak also conducts the IPMAT exam for admission to IIM Rohtak's IPM programme.
Several IIMs accept ipmat score for their 5 year integrated programme in management IPM and you will need to fill out separate application forms for each IIM you wish to apply to even if they all accept IPMAT scores

IIM Sirmaur Admission Process 2026-30
The IIM Sirmaur admission process is divided into three phases:
Phase 1: Appearing for IPMAT Indore 2026 exam. Candidates will be shortlisted and selected for the PI based on the Aptitude Test Scores (ATS) from IPMAT scores.
Phase 2: Appearing for Personal Interview after Phase 1 at IIM Sirmaur. The candidates should meet the eligibility criteria and cutoff for PI.
Phase 3: Final selection after the calculation of the composite score of the candidate. The composite score will be calculated as follows:

IPMAT Indore and IPMAT Rohtak have similar syllabus but they differ in terms of difficulty level. IPMAT Indore exam has 3 sections based on Verbal Skills and Quantitative Skills but the IPMAT Rohtak exam has an extra section on Logical Reasoning.
