SVKM’s NMIMS follows the refund policy set as per the UGC guidelines. Read further to know details and schedule.
SVKMs NMIMS Refund Policy
SVKM’s NMIMS Deemed to be University offers several UG courses based on entrance tests. Candidates can appear for the NMIMS NPAT exam for admission into programs after twelfth offered by SVKM’s NMIMS University. Courses offered through NPAT include BBA, B.Com (Hons.), B.Sc. (Finance), B.Sc. (Economics), among other programs.
Soon after the release of NPAT results, qualified candidates are required to upload certain documents and pay the admission fee. Candidates might secure admission in any other affiliated college with the release of the second merit list. Such candidates need to cancel admission in the previously enrolled institute followed by participating/qualifying in the NPAT counselling and paying the admission fee to get enrolled.

NPAT exam dates are released in the admission handout. Candidates are advised to keep track of the NPAT important dates to avoid missing a deadline for NPAT registration and exam scheduling.
No, candidate who are looking for admission at NMIMS Indore need to appear and clear entrance exam as per course requirement. The university conducts multiple entrance exam as per different courses.
Soon after filling the NPAT application form, candidates get access to a window for NPAT exam scheduling, also known as NPAT slot booking. Candidates who have submitted the NPAT application form can access the exam scheduling window. The exam scheduling window helps candidates choose a desired exam date, venue and time to take NPAT. The exam scheduling window of NPAT exam is available at the applicant login portal that was used for registration process.
Candidates must take an informed decision while choosing an exam date as SVKMs NMIMS will not provide any rescheduling window.

NMIMS Refund Policy 2024
NMIMS follows refund rules as released by the Universities Grants Commission in October 2018. In the event of any change in the refund policy designed by UGC, NMIMS will also amend the refund policy followed at the affiliated institutes.

In case of a 100% fee refund, NMIMS will deduct 5% of the processing fees subject to a maximum deduction of Rs 5,000. The fee refundable amount shall be based on the important dates of the course.

SVKMs NMIMS will announce the NPAT Phase 1 merit list on April 16, 2026. The first merit list for BBA, BSc Finance, BCom Hons, and several other undergraduate courses will be declared in the third week of June 2026.
