Completely satisfied with faculty and campus life, good infrastruce.
Placements: In my previous batch of students, among 120 members, the majority of those who opted for placement are placed. The highest package is 14 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. The top company is Caterpillar. Various kinds of internships are provided, which are useful for students in Amrita.
Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi, proper conditions in labs, efficient library, food quality is average, and good facilities for sports and games. Food can be improved a bit, but that is secondary. You can really focus well on sports if you are interested. Multiple options like basketball, football, badminton, and powerlifting are available.
Faculty: Faculty here are highly qualified and help you in every aspect. Our course curriculum is relevant to IIT's curriculum. Difficulty is easy to average, but attention in classes is mandatory. Mid-semester exams are very important since they carry high weightage of marks, along with internals.
Other: I personally like mechanical engineering, the best thing is practical work. Better information can be provided in depth.

I had a good experience here. It has good placements, infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: Almost 95% of students have secured placements with a salary package that ranges from 6-24 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 8-9 LPA. Prominent companies like Caterpillar, L&T, Bosch, and other leading firms visit the college for placements. Roles like design engineer, production engineer, quality analyst, and research and development engineer are offered to students.
Infrastructure: Our college offers a comprehensive infrastructure to support the B. Tech Mechanical Engineering program. It is equipped with over 20 state-of-the-art laboratories and workshops. The campus is spread over 400 acres of land. It includes well-designed academic buildings, a central library with vast books, and a good dispensary.
Faculty: The course curriculum is designed to be industry relevant aiming to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge for the engineering sector. It includes a blend of theoretical and practical learning experiences. Exams are moderately difficult and the pass percentage is around 50%.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like machines. The best thing about our course is machines can do anything which humans cannot do. Events organised are regular and average, and not that good like other colleges.

Life at Amrita is really nice, and we do not regret the decision.
Placements: Till now, what I have found is that most of the people, around 80 to 90%, have been placed. The highest LPA was 25 LPA in my Mechanical Engineering department, and the average was around 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Bosch, Caterpillar, and Royal Enfield. Almost 99% of the students got internships either at their own places or at places offered by the college.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for my department are very nice. We have many labs, both outdoor and indoor, and the library is really impressive. However, the hostel situation is really bad. The hostel food, bathrooms, and rooms are subpar. This is the only complaint I have about my life at Amrita. I hope it improves because we complain every single day.
Faculty: In my Mechanical Engineering department, the fees for one year are 3.5 lakhs. The teachers are very helpful and well-qualified, with many coming from top IITs. Their knowledge is excellent. The professors don’t speak much in class but ask us to refer to textbooks, which makes communication with them easy. The course curriculum is relevant, but it does make students’ lives a bit challenging. The semester exams are quite difficult, with a pass percentage around 40%.

Satisfied with the labs, faculty, and infrastructure. Full worth of my money .
Placements: 95% of the students were placed.
The highest package was 24 LPA.
The lowest was 6 LPA.
The average is around 8 to 9 LPA.
Caterpillar, L&T, Bosch, Mercedes, TVS, Cisco, Sobha Construction LLC, BNY Mellon, Sundaram Clayton, IT, Propel, etc. are the top recruiters.
90% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and all labs related to mechanicals are available. Some of them are SPM, FLUIDS, THERMAL, SAE, 3D printing, PNUMETICS, etc.; a class room with projectors; a good library with e-learning facilities.
Hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi, tv room, reading room, gym with good equipment, etc. are available.
Food is okay for Tamil Nadu and Kerala students; if not, you have to adjust. Medical facilities are available 24/7. Sports complex is there.
Faculty: Yes, most of the teachers are helpful; all are qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is a way of teaching that differs from one to the next.
This course is very useful for students because they will learn more practical skills and become industry-ready.
The difficulty level of semester exam is high and the pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I am passionate about mechanical engineering, as I was searching for a college I found this with good faculty, mainly labs and infrastructure. More software are to be introduced in curriculum.
Hackathons and tech fairs happen regularly.
There are scholarships provided by the university based on your performance in JEE Main and AEEE.

Review of Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore.
Placements: The placements are good. 50% of students got placement, and remaining students choose their career out of what they study. The highest package is 40 LPA, the lowest package is 2.3 LPA, and the average package is 5-8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course are Larsen and Turbo, Tata, NTPC, etc.
Infrastructure: All lab equipment control given to the student for learning purpose. There is no chance to bunk or skip the class if we entered into college. We have to permission of the parents to reach out of the campus. Full tight security is there. Hostel is okay to stay and food is acceptable.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable about the teaching subject. Controlling the class is good; they didn't skip any topics from the syllabus. And the syllabus is completed on time. Exams are conducted very strictly, and malpractice is strictly prohibited in the college.
