IIT Guwahati Cutoff 2025: Check Category-wise JEE Advanced Cutoff Rank

IIT Guwahati JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the BTech course across multiple specialisations. The cutoff ranks vary by rounds and categories. In this article, candidates can view the JEE Advanced first- and last-round closing ranks. For the students belonging to the General AI quota, the last round closing ranks ranged between 792 and 10727, with Computer Science and Engineering being the most competitive for admission. IIT Guwahati Cutoff 2025 For General All India Category

IIT Guwahati BTech cutoff 2025 was released as opening and closing ranks for various specialisations, wherein the last round cutoff ranks were in the range of 792 to 10727. Considering the closing ranks, CSE was the highly sought-after specialisation for admission, with first and last round closing ranks of 699 and 792, respectively. Students who were not eligible to take admission to Computer Science and Engineering can also choose Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics and Computing Engineering, etc., branches for admission, with lenient last round closing ranks of 1078 and 1276, respectively.

IIT Guwahati Cutoff 2025 For OBC All India Category

In the OBC category, the JEE Advanced last round cutoff ranks ranged between 336 and 4310, which is comparatively lower than that of the General category students. This indicates that the level of competition was higher for the OBC category students to secure a seat at IIT Guwahati's BTech branches. Here, the first and the last round JEE Advanced closing ranks were 324 and 336, respectively, for CSE admission. For other B.Tech. branches, including  Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electronics and Electrical Engineering, the last round cutoff ranks stood at 796 and 996, respectively. IIT Guwahati Cutoff 2025 For SC All India Category

B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering has the lowest cutoff for admission in 2025 as compared to the General and OBC categories. IIT Guwahati CSE cutoff 2025 was 183 for admission. Considering its competitive rank, CSE was the most challenging specialisation for admission among the Engineering aspirants. Other BTech branches with stringent cutoff ranks of 499 and 656 were Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electronics and Electrical Engineering. 

Candidates with the highest cutoff ranks of 2177 and 2564 can get into B.Tech. in Engineering Physics and B.Tech in Biosciences and Bioengineering at IIT Guwahati.

IIT Guwahati Cutoff 2025 For ST All India Category

Students can refer to the table below to view the JEE Advanced first and last round closing ranks for BTech admission across multiple specialisations. The cutoff ranks vary for different BTech specialisations for the first and the last rounds. For admission to BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, the first round closing rank was 91, which further increased to 99 in the last round. IIT Guwahati Cutoff 2025 For EWS All India Category

For the EWS category students, the IIT Guwahati cutoff 2025 was between 118 and 1661 for BTech admission across multiple specialisations. The lowest rank was for CSE admission. In the first round, the JEE Advanced first round closing rank was 114, which further increased to 118 in the final admission round. For other branches, including B.Tech. in ECE and B.Tech. in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, the JEE Advanced last round closing ranks were 301 and 377, respectively. IIT Guwahati Cutoff 2025 For PWD All India Category

For the PWD category students, the JEE Advanced cutoff was released for BTech in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Mathematics & Computing Engineering and Data Science & Artificial Intelligence. The closing ranks varied between 28 and 191 in the last round, wherein the cutoff rank concluded at 28 for Mathematics and Computing Engineering, 42 for CSE, 67 for Data Science and AI, 163 for ECE and 191 for Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
