IIT Guwahati Cutoff 2025 For General All India Category

IIT Guwahati BTech cutoff 2025 was released as opening and closing ranks for various specialisations, wherein the last round cutoff ranks were in the range of 792 to 10727. Considering the closing ranks, CSE was the highly sought-after specialisation for admission, with first and last round closing ranks of 699 and 792, respectively. Students who were not eligible to take admission to Computer Science and Engineering can also choose Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics and Computing Engineering, etc., branches for admission, with lenient last round closing ranks of 1078 and 1276, respectively.

In the OBC category, the JEE Advanced last round cutoff ranks ranged between 336 and 4310, which is comparatively lower than that of the General category students. This indicates that the level of competition was higher for the OBC category students to secure a seat at IIT Guwahati's BTech branches. Here, the first and the last round JEE Advanced closing ranks were 324 and 336, respectively, for CSE admission.
