Candidates must fill the GAT application form and enter the programme details for admissions.

GAT 2026 registrations will commence tentatively in October 2025. Candidates seeking admission to UG or PG program of GAT, must fill the online application form following the steps below:

Step 1- Visit the official website of GAT: gitam.edu

Step 2- Click on tab 'New Registration' and enter personal details

Step 3- Upon successful registration, candidates will receive an application number and password. 

Step 5- Login with the credentials and complete the application form

Step 5- Upload the required documents, in prescribed size and format

Step 6- Pay the application fees online.

Yes, candidates can apply for multiple courses after fulfilling the eligibility criteria. Candidates can select multiple courses while filling the GAT application form. Candidates can login with the same credentials and apply for multiple courses. 

Candidates preparing for GAT exam must ensure to fulfill the below presscribed eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Candidates failing to meet the eligibility criteria will be disqualified.

For BBA

• The minimum educational requirement for candidates is to have completed Class 12 or an equivalent examination for BBA admissions.
• The examination should be recognisedby the relevant educational board or authority in the country.
• The candidate must have successfully passed this examination (GAT) or UGAT to be eligible to apply.

For MBA

• Candidate must have  a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. 
• Candidate must have completed the UG course in minimum three years duration.
• Students in the final year of graduation are eligible to apply for the programme

Candidates can pay the GAT application form fee online by following the steps to fill the GAT application form. Refer the steps below to know how to pay the GAT application form fee online:

Step 1- Log in to official webiste of GITAM- apply.gitam.edu
Step 2- After filling in the GAT 2026 application form, proceed for the payment process,
Step 3- Choose the mode of payment from the following available options -

• Net banking
• Credit card
• Debit card
• UPI
• QR code

Step 4- complete payment process and take the print of the reciept for future reference.

GITAM Admission Test (GAT) will be a Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam will be held in online mode. Candidates will have to report at the allotted GAT exam centre. Each candidate will be provided with the desktop and mouse. Candidates will have to use the mouse to mark the correct answer on the screen. In CBT mode, the exam duration will be mentioned on the screen.

No, candidates will not be required to fill separate GAT application form to apply for different courses. With a single GAT application form candidates can apply for UG or PG courses they wish to apply for. Candidats can apply for Architecture, Engineering, Humanities, Law, Management, Nursing, Paramedical, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Sciences courses offered at GITAM Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bengaluru campuses. 

GAT 2025 registration will commence online soon. GITAM will announce the important dates for GAT 2025. Candidates willing to take admisison to GITAM to its UG or PG programme must fill the application form on or before the last date.

If a candidate has forgotten the GAT login details, he/she can retrieve the details by following the steps below:

Step 1- Visit the GAT login page and click on the "Forgot Password" tab.

Step 2- Enter registered email address to receive the link for changing password.

Step 3- A link will be sent to the registered email address.

Step 4- Click on the link, reset the password and click on the 'Submit' button.

Step 5- Once password is rest, candidates can log in to their GAT account.

GITAM Admission Test (GAT) 2026 registrations will commence in second week of December 2025 at gat.gitam.edu. Candidates interested in admission to BBA or MBA programme of GITAM Deemed to be University, must fill the online application form on or before the last date. The GAT application form can be filled in online mode only when released. GITAM will commence the GAT 2026 registrations online after the release of notification. Candidates must ensure to fulfill the prescribed eligbility criteria before filling the application form. To complete the GAT 2025 registrations candidates must ensure to pay the GITAM application fee of INR 1200. The application fee can be paid in online mode only.

No, GITAM has not announced the GAT 2026 exam dates. It is expected that GAT 2026 exam dates will be announced anytime soon. Candidates can know the registration start and last date, exam dates for each phase and result schedule. GITAM GAT 2026 registrations for phase 1 are expected to commence anytime soon at gitam.edu. Candidates will be able to check the GAT 2026 dates online.

GAT BBA admission process will be conducted in following stages:

Stage 1: Fill the GAT BBA application form

Stage 2: Appear for the exam

Stage 3: Declaration of results; shortlisting of candidates

Stage 4: Shortlisted candidates to appear for GD/PI

GAT general knowledge section will consist of 25 questions. The questions will be covered from the following important topics:

8. Current affairs

As per the GAT exam pattern there is no sectional time limit. GAT BBA question paper will consist of four sections, namely:

• English Language
• Quantitative Aptitude
• Reasoning and Intelligence
• General Knowledge

Candidates will be required to attempt all four sections within the given time duration. GAT exam is conducted for a duration of 60 minutes or one hour. GAT sections will consist of 100 questions in total. Candidates must device strategy to attempt maximum questions within the given time duration.

For every correct answer candidates will be given one mark. For every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.

No, all the questions in the GAT question paper will be objective-type questions and will be in MCQ format. Candidates will be given four options for each question. Candidates will have to select the correct option for each question. GAT question paper will consist of 200 Multiple Choice Questions. Each question will be for one mark. There will be a negative marking for any wrong answers. Candidates will have to attempt the 200 questions in 60 minutes. There will be no sectional time limit to attempt the GAT exam sections. GAT 2026 exam will be held multiple times in a year in computer-based mode across 27 cities in India.

Each student can appear for the GAT exam once for one course in one phase. Authorities does not provide re-appearing students with credentials by considering it an unfair practice of duplicate application. Candidates can apply for courses while filling the single application form. 

GAT 2026 exam will be held in multiple sessions. Candidates who will register for the exam will be able to appear for the GAT exam. The examination for GITAM (Deemed to be University) UG and PG admissions will be held in computer based mode. Candidates will have to report to the allotted exam centre. GAT exam is codncuted for a duration of 60 minutes. As per the GAT exam pattern, the question paper consists of 200 multiple-choice questions. Candidates had to choose a correct answer among the four options provided. There will be a negative marking for wrong answers of 1/3 marks. Candidates wothout GAT admit card will not be permitted to enter the GAT exam centre.  

In case of any incorrect information or missing details in the GITAM admit card, candidates must report at the GITAM admission helpdesk immediately. Candidates can call at admission care or register their complaint by sending an email. GAT 2026 admit card will mention the details like- name of the candidate, registration number, category, date of birth, gender, PWD, programme details, date of exam, time, city, centre address, declaration and important guidelines for exam centre. Candidates must note that request about change in exam time and centre will not be entertained under any circumstances. Exam centre once allotted will not be changed. Hence, candidates must enter the exam centre details carefully while filling the GAT application form.

GAT 2026 admit card will be released online at gitam.edu. GAT admit card will be released soon after the registration process is completed. Only candidates who will fill the complete application form along with the payment of the application fee will be able to download the GAT admit card. The GAT admit card is an important document that has to be carried on the day of the examination, without which candidates will not be permitted to enter the exam centre. To download the GAT 2026 admit card, candidates must visit the link sent to their registered email address. Candidates must then enter their login credentials to download the admit card. Screen will display the candidate's details and exam centre details where candidates have to report on the date of the examination. Candidates must check the details mentioned on the GAT admit card. In case of any discrepancy, candidates must immediately contact the GITAM helpline to rectify the information along with the supporting documents.

No, candidates will not receive the hard copy of GAT 2026 admit card. Registered candidates must download the GAT admit card 2026 online when released. Only candidates who will register successfully along with the payment of application fee will be able to download the admit card soon after. GAT 2026 hall ticket is an important document that has to be shown on the day of the examination. Candidate will not be permitted to hsow the digital copy of the GAT 2026 admit card.

GAT 2026 results will be announced phase wise soon after the exam is conducted. The GAT 2026 scorecard will be available for download on the official website- gat.gitam.edu, for a limited period. Candidates must obtain their GAT mark sheets within the time limit, as admission will be granted to those who will present the mark sheet at the time of Counselling. The GAT 2026 scorecards can be obtained in online mode only.

GAT results 2026 will be announced soon after the exam for each phase is conducted. Candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to download their scorecard online when released. The GAT scorecard 2026 is released at gitam.edu. GAT exam 2026 will be held in mutiple phases. On release of the GAT 2026 results, candidates will be able to check the following details on the scorecard:

• Name of the candidate 
• Candidate’s roll number 
• GAT 2026 total score 
• Result announcement date 

Qualified candidates will be able to appear for the GAT counselling process when conducted. Candidates will not be issued the physical copy of the GAT 2026 results. Candidates must ensure to download the scorecard online.

GITAM selection process via GAT is as follows:

• Register and apply for the GAT exam online through the GITAM website.
• Choose the specific programme you're interested in.
• Appeat for GAT exam. The duration of the test depends on the programme you're applying for (typically 1 or 2 hours).
• GITAM will declare the results on their website.
• You might need to appear for additional stages like PI, Portfolio review.
• GITAM will conduct online counselling.

In order to get seat in GITAM School of Business the students need to take admissions for MBA course. The eligibility for MBA programme is graduate with 50% aggregate.

 Apart from this, the student need to have valid national-based entrance exam score such as CAT/MAT/XAT/ GAT, NMAT

The full form for GITAM GAT is GITAM Admission Test. It is an management entrance test conducted by Gandhian Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) for admission to MBA/PGDM programe of GITAM School of Business. Candidates seeking admision to Post graduate programe of GITAM must appear for the exam. Candidates having valid score in national level management entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, etc. will be exemted from taking the GITAM GAT exam. Candidates will be required to fill the application form to be eligible for appearing in group discussion and personal interview rounds. GITAM GAT is conducted in multiple sessions in a year. Candidates can chose the date of examination as per their convenience.

The last date to apply for first phase of GAT exam 2026 will be notified soon. Aspirants will be able to submit the online GAT 2026 application form online till prescribed date at gitam.edu. Registered candidates will also be able to download the GAT 2026 admit card when released. Candidates will not be permitted to take the exam without registration and an admit card. No, candidates will not be able to change the GAT exam centre once the application form is submitted. GITAM Deemed to be University does not provide any provision for GAT application form correction window. Candidates filling the application form must carefully enter the details. The GAT 2026 registration will commence online and the last date of registration for MBA and BBA will be announced in December 2025. Candidates must carefully enter the personal details, academic details, exam centre preference and payment details. 

GAT application form once submitted, no requests for change in the details of the application form will be entertained. Candidates must check the list of the GAT exam centres before filling the application form.
