Avery good college and I would recommend to join here.

Placements: This is a very nice college, and you should opt for it as it offers full facilities. Faculty members are highly qualified, so you must consider this college. It has an easygoing environment, and everything is fine here. Placements at this college are excellent. You can even get a package of one crore from IIT Jammu, even if you're in a material branch. Computer Science Engineering students are getting salary packages of around 1.5 crores per annum.

Infrastructure: Facilities are top-notch, you don't need anything else here. College facilities, hostel facilities, and food services are of a supreme level. Wi-Fi speed is very good, and the library is excellent. Everything you need is available, and the quality is next level. You can even connect via Ethernet wire.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and have Master's degrees or Ph.Ds. They are highly knowledgeable in their fields. You should opt for this college. College has very good weather conditions, and there is nothing too bad around here. It is easy to get here, so you can consider coming.

Other: It's a very good experience, they pay to students who participate and win in the first place.. You can earn money by winning. Recently, I won Rs. 10,000 by participating in a fest.

It is one of the fastest developing college.

Placements: Around 80 to 90 percent students are placed from this course . Amazon , Flipkart and many more are the top recruiters. Almost all students got internships. Many multinational companies recruits and packages are also good . In this college, the average package goes around 17 lakhs rupees.

Infrastructure: Wifi is top notch but campus is not ready and the quality of the mess is also good. The classrooms are also big but in my opinion, the library is small. Mess members are also good and they provide hygiene. There are also many sports facilities available in this college .

Faculty: Yes, teachers are qualified. They have done PhDs in their respective departments and all are very helpful and understanding. They are very knowledgeable. They are very helpful in this college. The courses are very relevant and also provide interdisciplinary courses.

Other: Crowd is very low, campus life is good, campus have greenery, and there are also many clubs available in this college.

My great experience at IIT Jammu- A civil engineering student's perspective.

Placements: In my Civil Engineering course at IIT Jammu, around 60-70% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is about 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 4 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Some top recruiting companies are L&T, Tata Projects, and GMR Group. Around 50-60% of students got internships in companies like NHPC, PWD, and some construction firms. Top roles offered are site engineer, structural engineer, and project management trainee.

Infrastructure: Our Civil Engineering department at IIT Jammu has good facilities like Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and a good library with many books. Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms and regular maintenance. The food served in the mess is average, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Canteen offers snacks and quick meals. Medical facilities include a health center with basic care. For sports, we have grounds for cricket, football, and courts for badminton and basketball.

Faculty: Teachers in our Civil Engineering course at IIT Jammu are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They explain concepts clearly and support students with doubts. Teaching quality is good, with a mixture of theory and practical learning. The course curriculum is relevant and covers industry-needed topics. But students need extra effort to be fully job-ready. Semester exams are moderate to tough, requiring regular study. The pass percentage is high, around 85-90%, so most students clear exams.

Other: Our Civil Engineering batch at IIT Jammu has around 30-40 students. I chose this course because of my interest in construction and design. The best part of this course is the practical learning through labs and site visits. However, more industry exposure would be helpful. Campus has fun fests, a friendly crowd, and decent connectivity. The surroundings are peaceful, and scholarships are available. Hostel facilities are good, and extracurricular activities like sports and clubs keep us engaged. The mess food is average but manageable. Overall, the campus provides a good environment for learning and growth.

The dream college to get success .

Placements: In IIT Jammu civil engineering, the highest package is 30 LPA, the average package is 13 LPA and the lowest package is 6 LPA. In IIT Jammu, almost 85 percent of students get placed. The top recruiting companies for my course were L&T, Tata projects, GMR, etc. The internship rate is 70%. The top roles offered are site engineer, project manager and design engineer.

Infrastructure: IIT Jammu for civil engineers has a modern lab and all the required equipment. Wi-Fi is available 24 hours a day at IIT Jammu. The college does not have a big library. Hostels are good. And good food is provided by the mess. Medical facilities are available and sports infrastructure is good but there is not a single cricket ground. Overall, I find it nice.

Faculty: The civil engineering faculty of IIT Jammu are well qualified and very supportive. They teach us industry-related curriculum courses. Exams are moderately tough; almost 90% of students pass. If any student gets backlogged on any course, then the college offers to give them that course during summer vacation.

Other: I have had an interest in civil engineering since my childhood and I want to build a building which will be world's unique building so I chose civil engineering in IIT Jammu. If in civil engineering can get more industrial internships, then it will be a plus point for civil engineers. We celebrate many more fests, festivals, freshers parties, etc. Scholarships are available.

This college is very much developing.

Placements: There is a problem in core placements, but many multinational companies come to offer placements to students, and the packages are also very good. The students from this college are earning very well after getting placed and are doing well in life.

Infrastructure: The faculty is very supportive and cooperative, and they teach very well here. They are very knowledgeable. The Wi-Fi facilities are very good. A very good library is present here, and the sports facilities are also very good. There are many opportunities for sports.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is also very good. The teachers are very qualified. The course curriculum is not very relevant to the industry. The exams are very difficult, and it is very hard to pass. The pass percentage is about 95%.

Other mandatory Criteria: Candidate who had appeared in Class 12th or equivalent examination for the first time in 2022 or earlier, are NOT eligible to appear irrespective of the combination or number of subjects attempted/offered. However, if the exam Board of Class 12th or equivalent declared the results for the academic year 2021-22 on or after September 21, 2022, then the candidates of that Board who appeared for their Class 12th or equivalent exam in 2022 are also eligible appear in JEE (Advanced) 2024, provided they meet all the other eligibility criteria.
