2: IIT Kharagpur University Selection Criteria 2025 & Release of Merit List
After putting in their application, individuals have to take a course-based test and other selection rounds (if these are required). Every programme in IIT Kharagpur has set a cutoff score which prospective students are required to meet or exceed. When all the selection rounds are finished, any candidates chosen after the cutoff are invited to counselling for seat allocation. No, IIT Kharagpur does not offer direct admission to the students. Admission to all the courses is either entrance-based or is subject to rigorous selection rounds inclusive of Personal Interviews conducted by the institute.
