IIT BHU is spread over 1300-acre of area with all the necessary amenities with amazing campus life. Three major festivals—technical (Technex), cultural (Kashiyatra), and sports (Spardha)—are held annually at IIT BHU. MTech programme at IIT BHU Varanasi is one of the most popular programmes offered by the institution. It is a two year course and it is split in four semesters. Yes, IIT BHU offers Merit-cum-Means scholarships to 25% undergraduate students. Besides, there are several endowment scholarships offered by the Institute. Some other facilities are also provided to undergraduate students in the form of Institute free studentship, scholarships, reimbursement of mess charges and pocket allowances to the students belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. The total fee of tuition for the M.Tech course at IIT BHU, especially for 2-year courses, is Rs. 40,000. The fee part of the M.Tech course also has different parts too, likewise the Mess Advance Charge, Registration/Enrolment, Campus Services, Medical, etc.

The initial dates of the semester beginning and registration for M.Tech at IIT BHU usually happen in July. The registration initiates in July, around the 15th, and the start of the classes is held in the last week of July.
