IIT Jammu BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2026
IIT Jammu BTech is a full-time course of four years. Some of the specialisations offered are Computer Science and Engineering, Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc. IIT Jammu BTech admission is subject to a valid score in JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Students are also required to go through the JoSAA counselling process for final seat allotment.

IIT Jammu offers merit-based and means-based scholarships, along with tuition fee waivers, to BTech students. The institute offers monthly tuition fee refunds to the students. To be eligible for a scholarship, candidates must meet the prescribed eligibility requirements.

No, IIT Jammu admit candidates to its BTech programmes based on JEE Main qualification followed by JEE Advanced scores only. There is no other accepted entrance exam and provision for admission. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of exam scores have to take part in JoSAA counselling for seat allotment. The seats are allotted in accordance with the released cutoff and the applicants preferred college and course.
