Additionally, the fourth admission list is tentatively scheduled to be released on Jun 30, 2025.
- The JoSAA Counselling 2025 schedule has been revised for admission to BE/BTech courses. As per the revised schedule, the last date for fee payment and document upload process by candidates allocated seats in Round 1 is Jun 22, 2025. Further, the Round 2 seat allocation results will now be released on Jun 25, 2025.

National Institute of Technology Nagaland (also known as NIT Nagaland or NIT Dimapur) is one of the thirty-one NIT Colleges in India. It was established in 2010 by an act of the parliament. Located in Dimapur, Nagaland, it is an Institute of National importance. NIT Dimapur has been ranked 151-200 by NIRF 2024 under the 'Engineering' category. - Beginning within the mentorship of NIT Silchar for 2 years, NIT Nagaland is known to be among 10 newly approved NITs in the year 2009.
- For the first 2 years, NIT Nagaland operated from the campus of NIT Assam.
- The Institute began its academic year in 2010, with permanent land allocation by January 2012.

National Institute of Technology Nagaland course admissions are entrance-based. The Institute offers the BTech programme at the UG level and, the MSc and MTech programmes at the PG level.

NTA has announced the JEE Main exam date 2025 session 1 and 2. The first session exam will be conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29, 2025 (Paper 1), and January 30, 2025 (Paper 2). The campus of NIT Nagaland offers various facilities and world-class infrastructure to its students. These include the following:
- Central Library: The Central Library of NIT Nagaland has a collection of over 9,500 books in streams such as Engineering, Basic Sciences, Management, Humanities, and others.
