Master of Science in Physics at Nagaland.
Placements: Well, considering records of placements, it graphically changed over the years. But the training for placements was consistently given by the top trainers, which helped to enhance our knowledge with incredible efficiency. Most students got placed in core companies, with the highest pay being 15.4 LPA last year.
Infrastructure: The campus area was hygienic, with all facilities looked at by students to pursue their courses. Student safety was a priority for the management over other activities. Transportation on the college campus was very good. All the necessary safety measures were initiated in the college
Faculty: Academic excellence was superb, but teachers focused more on their teaching. A few students were disappointed with their teaching. Most teachers preferred to take classes using the SMART board and avoided using blackboards. Some of them simply read the textbooks and moved on.

I am satisfied with my college.
Placements: 50 to 60% of students are placed this year. The highest salary is approximately 14 LPA, the average package is between 5-6 LPA, and the lowest package is 4.22 LPA. The top recruiting companies are L and T Engineering and Construction, IBM, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra. The majority of students take internships at Power Grid in Dimapur and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited. 40% of students go for internships. Roles offered for Mechanical Engineering is in manufacturing, design, research, and technology management.
Infrastructure: There is a separate lab workshop for mechanical engineering students. Wi-Fi connections are good on campus. Labs are well-functioning. We have 6 bamboo classrooms and many buildings. Classrooms are quite good for studying. We have a library where we can take books for studies. Most of the time, books are available for us. We have a good supply of electricity, but sometimes you can face electricity problems. The mess and canteen are average. We have a sports ground.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most of them are good at teaching and provide quality education. As we know, our syllabus is not advanced according to industry standards, they will provide what they have, but you also need to put in efforts from your side. The difficulty level of exams is moderate. If you study, you will pass easily. If you start preparing one week before the exam, you will easily get good marks. 60% of the people pass easily. Most of faculty members are supportive and help with each work. The nature of our teachers is quite good.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in machines since childhood. This course makes it easier for me to understand about design of machines and many more. The best thing about my course is that I recently won a Robo GP competition where we made a car and competed with other participants. At least one event or fest is done in a month. The campus crowd is not so much. Connectivity is too good for us. Many extracurricular activities are done like fests and healthy competitions between branches, like sports, dance, and others.

I am satisfied with this college because of the college facilities.
Placements: Since I am in my first year currently, I cannot provide much information regarding the placements. I have heard some news regarding 4th-year students getting an average of 7 LPA in branches like CSE and ECE. The best placement I have heard here is of EIE. Our college has provided good placements in 2023.
Infrastructure: We have got Wi-Fi in our hostels and admin buildings but the network connectivity is very bad overall around our college. We have got about 4-5 labs for first-year students which consist of physics lab, chemistry lab, etc. Few concrete classrooms with fans and about 5 bamboo classrooms with fans. A small library with a seating capacity of about 20 students but the availability of books is good. The food served in the mess is good.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. Their teaching skills need to be worked on. The course taught in regular classes is good but only in a few subjects we are taught up to GATE level otherwise almost all subjects are taught at a very basic level. Semester exams are kept very easy here. Students studying the last day before exams are scoring 9 pointers.

NIT Nagaland is a great college.
Placements: Placements are not strong because students do not put in enough effort. Past placements are affected by the COVID period. Talented students often skip placements, scoring well in GATE (around 80%) and opting for M.Tech at IITs. Local students focus on preparing for state government exams.
Infrastructure: Hostels have excellent infrastructure and are well-maintained. Currently, first-year students are accommodated in a rented off-campus hostel due to availability constraints. A new hostel building is under construction. Hostels for the second, third, and fourth-year students are in excellent condition.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly and approachable, making it easier for students to achieve a CGPA above 8.5 with just 2-3 days of preparation before exams. Each semester includes a mid-semester exam and an end-semester exam. I am currently in my first year, pursuing a degree in B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering. The course is designed to be more accessible, ensuring that students who may struggle academically have a fair chance of passing. This makes it easier to score well and maintain a good CGPA.

Great college, Great crowd and awesome college life.
Placements: The EIE branch has the highest placement percentage. You can expect a median of nearly 8 LPA and an average of 8-9 LPA as well. In my branch, mostly placements vary between 90-100%, except for 2024. You can get placed in both IT and non-IT companies. You have to work on your skills to grab good internship offers. Overall, it's 8.4/10.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is fast enough and is available in all of campus. You get like upwards of 200-300mbps on laptops. On phones, it can vary between 35-120mbps. Classrooms are good enough to accommodate all of the students. Don’t expect modern classrooms. Classrooms are good but aren’t super modern or anything, though they get most of the work done. We have one cricket football ground, a badminton court, a cricket practice net, a volleyball court, and a basketball court. We are provided with table tennis. Hostels are really great as well with spacious rooms. The library is good as well and contains many books on different topics.
Faculty: Most of professors and teachers have done their Ph.D. from prestigious institutes. They are all very knowledgeable and explain concepts and topics really well. Teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is similar to most other NITs, i.e., the same syllabus for all branches in the first semester. Though, unlike many other NITs, in the second semester, every branch gets a unique exclusive subject and practical subject. The curriculum is good and relevant. Exams aren’t that tough. Questions test all of the stuff you learn in the lectures, though. You can easily score high in exams with a small amount of study.
Other: I chose EIE because it has a high placement ratio and you learn both hardware and software well. The events and fests in the college are very great. The main annual fest is called Ekarikthin + Teach-Avinya. It's the biggest technical and cultural fest of college, and it's really awesome. You can win a lot of prize money in the technical/cultural events in the fest aswell. Extracurricular activities are good as well. Many are good at dancing, singing and at sports etc. Crowd is good too. Connectivity is really good as you can easily reach the college by train.

Review of NIT Nagaland Engineering College.
Placements: Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department at NIT Nagaland has shown a steady placement record in recent years. In the 2022-2023 placement season, 14.08% of ECE students secure job offers. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, while the average package offered was 5 LPA. Top recruiting leading companies that hire ECE graduates include Infosys, Tech Mahindra, L&T Construction, IBM, ICT Services, and Technology Adoption.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not bad, but it is decent. I like it, but there isn't a high-quality playground for students to play on. They also have restrictions on the Wi-Fi. Hostels are not well managed, and the mess food is decent for non-vegetarians, but pure vegetarians will only get paneer.
Faculty: Exams are too easy, you can easily pass them. Teachers are very good, and most of them are from the north and south side, so you can easily understand them in any language. But, you also have to do self-study to get a pass. Teachers here are very helpful and qualified.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?
A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
