Absolutely satisfied with this college and really good environment.

Placements: A total of 85 percent of students got placement in 2024: 98 percent in CSE, 76 percent in ECE and 79 percent in electrical. The average package for 2024 is 17.72 LPA and the highest package was 82 LPA (due to recession ). The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Rapido, Flipkart, Amazon, etc. The top roles offered are software engineers, etc.

Infrastructure: Faculty members are fantastic and have good knowledge Wi-Fi on campus is available with high-speed internet; hostels are available in good condition with chairs, beds, and personal washrooms; food is available in the mess area; a canteen is also available on campus; and sports facilities are also available.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified from different IITs and teaching quality is high and good compared to any other college. The course curriculum is relevant in the first year; you will face core subjects, and practical knowledge is provided. Semester exams are very difficult compared to other colleges and the pass rate is around 70–80 percent.

Review of my college NIT Delhi .

Placements: This is the first time for the civil engineering branch at NIT Delhi, as this branch was launched this year for the first time. As the placements of other branches are very good, I expect our branch placement will also be good. Many top companies visited here, like Adobe, Atlassian, Swiggy, Microsoft, Samsung, etc. The highest placement of the college is INR 83 lacs, taken by Aarushi Jain of the EEE branch. The placement stats for the year 2023 are not yet updated on the official site; they will be updated soon. The internship opportunities are also good, as the company is hiring for internships. If you have skills, you will achieve them. The average placement of all the branches is INR 10 lakh per annum.

Infrastructure: The course design is well defined, and you say after seeing it that it is made from a placement point of view. Almost all labs are available at the college. The central library is on the permanent campus, and almost all the necessary books are available there. In NIT Delhi, there are two hostels on the permanent campus, one for boys and one for girls. And two boys hostels (Nilerd Hostel and SRHC Hostel) are 5km away from the permanent hostel that is for the 1st year boys. No one can say that the freshmen boys are staying away from the seniors. The mess facilities are available in all the hostels, and you have to pay INR 3500 for each month. A canteen is also available on both campuses. All the sports are available at the college, but the college has only one common ground. So all the outdoor spots are played on the ground only.

Faculty: The faculty members of the college are the backbone of this college. All faculty members give their best, and they are very helpful and polite to the students. Almost all the faculty members had Ph.D. degrees in their subjects. The course curriculum is easy, and you have enough time to do other things or prepare for other exams as well. As I said, the course curriculum is based on placement, so obviously it will make you industry-ready. In each semester, there are two exams: one is midterm and the other is end term, and both exams are easy. You can pass them by doing the class work given by the professors.

Other: I chose this college because of my JEE Mains rank. I have other options also, but my elder brother was also a passout from this college, and he suggested me, and this decision was really good. The thing that I would like to improve in my course is that many of the subjects that we studied in college were unfamiliar to us, so I want to change those subjects. NIT Delhi alumni are in big MNCs, so it is one of the best things for any college that we have. The college is situated on the north side of Delhi. If you really need the scholarship, then you will definitely get it. Many scholarship programs are available here.

College with good infrastructure but not fully constructed and dissatisfied with the hostel.

Placements: NIT Delhi provides decent placements to the students, with an average package of 16 Lacs per annum and the highest package of 85 Lacs per annum. Some of the companies that recruit from our college are Accenture, BlackRock, Swiggy, Zomato, Flipkart, Meesho, etc.

Infrastructure: NIT Delhi got its permanent campus recently, so its infrastructure is very good but not fully constructed, with smartboards in classes, properly functioning labs, and all the necessary infrastructure and machinery provided. Moving to the hostel, it is average, not too good, and the food is just eatable.

Faculty: All the professors are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with good teaching quality. Moreover, the course curriculum is totally inclined towards the current demand in society. Every semester compromises of two exams: one is the mid-semester exam of 25 marks, and the end-semester exam of 50 marks, out of which there is no limit for mid-semester marks, but a minimum of 15 is required in the end-semester exams to pass.

Other: Being a college of national importance, the college authorities, professors, and teaching quality are average, but more improvement in teaching quality is required. Moreover, there are no fests organized, which means campus life is almost dead, which is quite concerning.
