Best NIT in India. Placement is good.
Placements: 96% of students are placed. The highest package is 17LPA. Top recruiting companies are LNT, Tata Steel, Jusco, etc. They get internship in Jusco about 50% and many more companies like ICICI Bank, all the students did a great job in placement also.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms are neat and clean. The diamond jubilee lecture hall is the best, the hostel is also good, and the mess food is also okay. The gym section is good, football, basketball, volleyball court, lawn tennis court, badminton court, chess area, everything is nice.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified from good IITs and NITs. They help us in very difficult situations. The semester exam is not so tough, almost all the students pass. All the teachers are well educated, and they are also doing research work and teaching M.Teach and Ph.D. students.
Other: I love civil engineering, thats why I chose civil and wanted to be in the core. In NIT, JSR events are the best, including cultural night, branch fest, tech fest, sports fest, and many more things.

Satisfied with college. Actually, I started preparation for JEE in a drop year.
Placements: In general, our branch almost every student got placed. Generally, civil engineering branch students prefer to go for government jobs rather than any corporate jobs. Besides all that, people got good placements from many companies like L&T.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is working regularly, but during exam time, it gets stuck and does not work properly. After paying money, we have to recharge the phones to use data. LAN is working properly. Hostel quality is good, but I got the top floor. We know the college is behind the industrial area, and it gets too hot.
Faculty: It is too difficult to pass the examination. All the teachers present here are almost from the Indian Institutes of Technology. They have too much knowledge, but the knowledge and teaching methods are totally different. Some teachers know everything but are not able to describe it properly.
Other: I love to build new infrastructure.

Placements are decreasing in every successive batch. So, we should work on NIRF and infrastructure.
Placements: More than 90% of students are placed. 1.44 crores is the highest, and average is around 13 LPA CTC. Recruiting companies are Google, Atlasian, PayPal, JP Morgan, Amazon, Optum, Flipkart, HP, Adobe, Salesforce, Tata, Adani, Microsoft, Samsung, Bajaj, ICICI Bank, HP, Aditya Birla Group, etc. Mostly go as a SW engineer.
Infrastructure: Mostly could work on infrastructure a bit, though not 24X7. Reading rooms are available and on time because of the open campus. Mess is okay, non-veg available can improve. Sports are nice. Equipments and space are available. Medical ambulance and dispensary are available. Canteen is also available.
Faculty: They can improve the core placement needed. They can also provide more proper labs and facilities. Professors are okay. Depends on the professor, exams are difficult. Pass percentage is 30%. Semester exam can work through notes and PYQ.
Other: I chose this course because of circuital branch. It is a blooming field and requires more exposure and more core placements. Fests and events are nice.

The infrastructure is okay, but the placements are good.
Placements: The placements are good, and the placement cell is also supportive. It is one of the best colleges for core placements, having much better core placements and percentage than any other NITs in the list. The college is known for this placement more than any other.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, and the labs are old but pretty enough so you don't face any problem with learning. It's also one of the developing NITs, and definitely, it will grow more in research and also in infrastructure. Its NIRF ranking has also increased. It has now moved to the 82nd position from 100-150.
Faculty: The curriculum is very poor. They have to update it to the new curriculum that most of the colleges are following, making students industry-ready from the very start of their course. They also took the initiative this year; they have started core subjects in many branches.
Other: My batch is pretty good, and the batchmates are also good and competitive, getting a good environment here to grow.

Good faculty, good placement, infrastructure and facilities should be improved.
Placements: One of the biggest plus points of our college NIT Jamshedpur is its placement stats. They are just too good and easily comparable to top NITs and even a few IITs. Talking about placement percentage, it's more or less always above 90% if taking major branches into account. In my branch, i.e., ECE, it's almost around 90-95%, the highest being 84 LPA last year, and the average being around 20 LPA, with the lowest being around 8. Top recruiting companies include many IT companies and a few core companies, too. Internship percentage is also pretty good here. Job roles vary from SDE to data analysis and many more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent, but the campus seems so underutilized. The college doesn't even have an auditorium. But apart from that, the lecture hall and classrooms are pretty impressive and comparable to those of IITs. Labs and libraries are okayish and good. Talking about the hostel, it's just decent enough to live here. Rooms are good, but the main issue is with Wi-Fi. Even though they have provided a working LAN, the Wi-Fi just doesn't work. The food quality of the canteen is just average and sometimes below average. Medical facilities and sports are also quite good.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, but only a few are helpful or friendly. While many professors seem they have enough knowledge, they aren't able to explain properly. Overall, the faculty is very good here, except for a few. The quality of teaching is also very nice overall. The course, though, sometimes feels outdated and irrelevant. Moreover, I don't think that the current course structure makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams' difficulty totally depends on the professor, but in general, it's enough to study a week before to get a good grade. The pass percentage is also pretty good here.

my college is not good but not bad
Placements: Around 85 - 90% of students from the CSE department are typically placed. The highest package offered in recent years has been approximately 86 LPA (varies yearly). Lowest package is usually around 6-7 LPA. The average package for CSE students tends to be in the range of 12-15 LPA. Major recruiters include companies like Amazon, Tata Consultancy Services, Adobe, Atlassian. Around 60-70% of students secure internships during their course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my course and hostel is average. In my college comparison to boys hostel girls hostel is not good and there are 3 floors only and worst situation is that one room shared with 2 more girls. There is a three sitter room so this thing is not good.
Faculty: Faculty of NIT Jamshedpur is not good. The professor do not have any teaching skill and do not understand the student's situation. Exam course is so so but faculty always want i think they always search a path on how can back the student in the examination but not all.
Other: Event are good. In my college held many events are held and we all enjoy this events. They held many type of event like culfest ,ojjas, urja ,adveya, invikta and many others. All fest area are celebrated like sports, cultural, technical.
