SMEAT Exam Dates - Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design, & Technology has released the important dates for SMEAT 2026. The important dates cover the registration date, application date, admit card date, exam date, and result date for SMEAT 2026.
The SMEAT admission process is conducted in three rounds. Separate applications and exams are conducted for each round. Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria for the program need to fill out the form before the last date.
The last date to apply for SMEAT B.Des is March 15, 2026. The entrance test – MET (SMEAT) will be in mid April 2026. A detailed timeline will be announced soon. The last date to fill the form for M.Des is March 14, 2026 and the exams will be conducted from March 28, 2026 to April 12, 2026 for Round 1. SMEAT Round 1 for B.Des will be conducted on April 14, 2026.

Exam will be administered in a center-based mode and will have two parts: Test 1 and Test 2. Test 1 (T1) is a General Test of Ability, while Test 2 (T2) is a Test of Theme or Context-Based Test. Applicants needed to appear in both Test 1 and Test 2. Test 1(T1) is of 40 minutes for 40 marks and Test 2 (T2) is of 80 minutes for 60 marks. The total duration of exam is 120 minutes and total marks are 100.

SMEAT exam is conducted in two parts, Test 1 and Test 2. Both tests are mandatory. The duration of each test is 90 minutes and the total marks are 50 for each test.
Test 1 (T1) is a General Test of Ability and Test 2 (T2) is a Test of Creative Competencies.
The application fee for SMEAT exam is INR 5,000. Also, for every additonal course, the candidate has to pay another INR 1,000. The fee has to be paid online. In case the application fee isn't paid, the application form will be considered incomplete.

- SMEAT Exam: The Srishti Manipal Institute of Arts, Design, and Technology will conduct the SMEAT 2026 exam in multiple phases; the mode of the exam will be online. Candidates are advised to carefully check and go through the exam pattern, marking scheme, and syllabus before appearing for the entrance test.
