CEED Topper
The Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is a national level examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay for admission to Master of Design (M.Des) and Ph.D. programs in various participating institutes. The exam checks a candidate's aptitude for design, including visual perception ability, drawing skills, logical reasoning, creativity and communication skills.
Mr. Rohit Ravindra Waghmare got the top rank (AIR 1) in the Common Rank List (CRL) with a CEED score of 82.38 out of 100. CEED 2025 complete topper list will be announced shortly, as result has been declared. Once the rank list is released, names and scores of the top performing candidates will be available on CEED website (ceed.iitb.ac.in). CEED 2025 Score Card can be downloaded from March 10, 2025 from Candidate portal. The last date for downloading Score Cards is June 11, 2025.

Commonly asked questions
The scorecard of CEED 2026 will be released on March 10, 2026; the last date to download the scorecard is June 11, 2026.
The validity of the scorecard will be one year from the date of its issue. Using the scorecard, the candidate can apply for admission to both CEED 2026 participating and result-sharing institutes.
The scorecard will carry details like the Qualifying status and Part A marks. Open & category-wise Merit rank, and Part B & Total marks will be issued only if the candidate has qualified Part A.
The link to download CEED 2026 scorecard will be active only for a limited period of time. It will be available for download from March 10 - July 31, 2026. IIT Bombay will remove scorecard download link once the deadline expires.
Scorecard schedule has been released by IIT Bombay. It will be valid for a period of one year from the date of its release.
IIT Bombay will conduct the CEED 2026 exam on January 18, 2025 (9 am - 12 noon).
The exam will include two sections - Part A and Part B. Part A of the exam was administered in a computer-based mode, whereas Part B will be held offline. It is mandatory for candidates to qualify for Part A. If the candidate fails to qualify for Part A, his or her Part B answers booklet will not be evaluated. The final score of CEED will be calculated by giving weightage to both Part A and Part B.

CEED 2025 Statistics
CEED Rank List 2025
CEED 2025 rank list will be prepared based on combined marks obtained in Part A and Part B of examination. In case of a tie, tie-break policy will be used. All shortlisted candidates will be given a Common Merit Rank (CMR).
CEED Result 2025
CEED 2025 results have been declared. Candidates can check their results by logging into the CEED 2025 website using their registered email ID and password.
Download CEED 2025 Result
- Go to CEED 2025 website.
- Look for CEED 2025 Result link on the homepage and click on it.
- Enter your registered email ID and password to access your candidate portal.
- Once logged in, click on Download Result or View Scorecard option.
- Your CEED 2025 result and scorecard will appear on the screen. Click on the Download button and save PDF for future reference.
- Take a printout of the scorecard, as it will be required during the admission and counseling process.
CEED 2025 Counselling
CEED 2025 counselling is not conducted centrally by IIT Bombay. Candidates who qualify CEED exam 2025 must apply separately to participating institutes for admission to M.Des and Ph.D. programs.

The cutoff for CEED Admission is expected to be out after the release of the CEED result 2026 and scorecard. CEED result and Scorecard will be used for CEED Admission in various IITs.

UCEED 2026 application form is to be filled by candidates seeking admission to the B. Des programme. Also, UCEED 2026 scores are not considered for admission to the M.Des programme. So, the candidates must instead fill out the application form for CEED 2026. Note that both the CEED and UCEED exams

The qualifying cut-off is the minimum marks a candidate needs to score in the paper to get shortlisted. Part B answer booklets will only be evaluated if the candidate gets shortlisted.
So, if you don't meet Part A cut-off marks, you will not get shortlisted and you Part B answer booklets will not be

IIT Roorkee doesn't offer PhD in Design course through CEED. It only offers a MDes in Industrial Design. Admission to the M.Des programme will be based on CEED 2026 merit rank. The candidate will have to apply directly to the participating college once results are declared.

The candidate must note that IIT Bombay is only responsible for conducting the CEED Entrance exam. Unlike UCEED, it will not conduct any Joint Seat Allotment.

No, IIT Bombay will not send the hard copies of CEED 2026 Scorecard. The scorecard of CEED will be issued only in online mode. The candidate has to download it from the CEED admission portal - ceed.iitb.ac.in. To download the scorecard, log in by entering your email id and password.
