Symbiosis International University conducted portfolio review and personal interview round till May 25, 2020. Read on for more details about SEED admission process 2020.
Symbiosis International University (SIU) did not conduct SEED 2020. To shortlist aspirants for admission in design courses offered by it, SIU conducted personal interview (PI) and portfolio review admission round. The last date for the admission rounds conducted for SIU BDes admissions 2020 is today, May 25.
To appear for PI round conducted for symbiosis admissions, aspirants had to book SEED slots on the official website of the exam till May 17, 2020. SIU exam authorities reviewed the SEED application forms submitted by candidates and thereafter issued SEED admit card to eligible candidates. Candidates eligible to appear for SEED admissions were informed about their admission schedule for PI and portfolio review on their admit card.

Symbiosis Admissions 2020: Personal Interview Round
The slot booking for personal interview round for SIU design admissions was open till May 17, 2020. Candidates had to download an app which was specified by SIU authorities to appear for the PI admission round. Further, candidates were advised to keep basic stationery with them when appearing for SEED PI round. The duration of personal interview round for symbiosis admissions 2020 would be of 15 minutes, approximately.
Symbiosis Admission 2020: Portfolio Review Round
Candidates had to upload their portfolio for SID admissions from May 11. However, aspirants could upload their portfolio latest till two days prior to their PI session. The things to be kept in mind when uploading the portfolio for SEED admissions is as mentioned below:

Due to COVID-19 outbreak, SIU is not conducting SEED 2020 but it is shortlisting aspirants for admission in BDes course offered by Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) and Symbiosis School of Planning, Architecture and Design (SSPAD), Nagpur based on a candidate’s performance in personal interview round and their portfolio.

SEED 2026 written exam will be 60 minutes. The question paper will include 60 questions. Question paper will have MCQ, Match the Columns, Fill in the blanks, image-based and comprehension-based questions.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) does not have any provisions for direct admission to the second year. So, candidates have to compulsory take admission in the first year of the B.Des program. Note that admission to the B.Des is only through the SEED 2026 exam.

Yes, a portfolio is required to get admission to SEED B.Des and M.Des programmes. You are required to present a digital portfolio that should contain all of your best work. Portfolio should be in the form of a PDF.

Yes, Symbiosis Institute of Design conducts mock test for SEED entrance exam. SEED Mock test will be conducted for B.Des programme for all the candidates who have filled SEED Application form.
