AP PGECET MPharma Counselling 2025 Seat Allotment: Check Dates, Fees & Procedure

The AP Higher Education Department has published AP PGECET 2026 Phase I seat allotment result. Candidates who have been allocated seats must self-report through the self-reporting system. Shortlisted candidates will also have to physically report to the college with the allotment letter and self-joining report. The last date to report to the allocated college is October 14, 2026. Both stages of reporting are mandatory. While reporting to the college, candidates have to carry the documents and certificates (original and photocopy) for verification.

AP PGECET 2026 dates for web-counselling have been updated for AP PGECET, GATE and PGECET qualified candidates. The Commissionerate of Higher Education have started AP ECET counselling as per the schedule. The official website to apply is cap.apfcss.in.

AP PGECET Counselling Eligibility and Reservation Guidelines

• Must be an Indian National.

• Need a Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).

• 85% of seats reserved for local AP candidates; 15% open to local/non-local candidates under specific conditions (residency, parent's government employment, etc.).

• EWS candidates get 10% reservation with a valid 2026-27 EWS certificate.

• Maximum age for fee reimbursement: 30 years (OC), 34 years (SC/ST/BC), as of 01.07.2026.

• GATE/GPAT candidates get first preference for seats; remaining seats go to PGECET candidates by merit rank.

The AP PGECET Counselling 2026 comprises few steps, based on which candidates will be allotted seats for MTech admission. The web-counselling of AP PGECET 2026 include candidate registration cum fee payment, certificate verification online, choice-filling and locking, and document verification. 

AP PGECET Counselling 2026 Registration Process

The steps to apply for AP PGECET 2026 counselling can be checked below:

• Visit cap.apcfss.in, and to candidate Login, and click on New Registration

• Select AP PGECET, Degree Board, Hall Ticket Number, Year of Passing

• Enter DOB, mobile number (entered twice), Aadhaar number (entered twice)

• Accept declaration and generate OTP

• One username/password works for all eligible CETs. There is no need to register separately.

AP PGECET Web-Counselling 2026: Documents to be Submitted for Online Document Verification

Candidates registering through GATE/GPAT must submit the following documents for verification. The certificates uploaded must be original -

• GATE/GPAT scorecard
• Provisional certificate/Degree certificate and Memorandum of marks of the qualifying examination
• Memo of SSC or its equivalent
• Study Certificate from Class 10th to graduation, OR Residence certificate preceding seven years from the qualifying examination
• Integrated community certificate issued by the competent authority (for BC/SC/ST candidates)
• Residence certificate of father or mother for 10 years in A.P,. excluding the period of their employment outside A.P. from M.R.O. in case of candidates who have studied outside the state of A.P
• Transfer certificate
• Candidates who have studied in Telangana but wish to claim AU/SVU regions have to submit a local status certificate. 

AP PGECET Counselling Registration Fees

Payment of counselling fee for AP PGECET Web-Counselling is mandatory. 

• The counselling fee for OC/BC candidates is INR 1,250 and for web-counselling fee for SC/ST candidates is INR 650. Accepted payment modes include (credit/debit card, net banking, UPI) at cap.apcfss.in

Below are the documents required for the counselling process:

• GATE Score / GPAT rank card

• Provisional certificate/ Degree certificate

• Memorandum of marks of the qualifying exam

• Memo of SSC or its equivalent

• Study certificates from Class 10 to graduation

• Integrated community certificate

• Transfer certificate

• Income certificate /Household card (white) or Ration card

• EWS certificate issued by Tahsildar if applicable.

Candidates are advised to carry original and photocopy of above documents. Also do carry recent passport-size photograph. It must be the same as that of one submitted in the application form. In addition, candidates must keep original with 3 set xerox copies of all the above documents. 

The APSCHE publishes the AP PGECET cutoff after the declaration of the results. The cutoff is different for each institute to institute depending on the course opted. Also, the cutoff marks will differ for GATE/GPAT-qualified candidates and PGECET-qualified candidates. Candidates who qualify for the AP PGECET cutoff are eligible for counselling.
