AP EAMCET Eligibility Criteria 2026 for Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy
AP EAMCET 2026 eligibility criteria are the conditions set by JNTU Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE to appear for the exam and further take admission in the respective course. To be eligible for AP EAMCET 2026, candidates must fulfil the requirements given below.
General Eligibility Criteria for AP EAMCET 2026
The nationality or state requirement of the candidate is as follows.
- Candidates must be Indian Nationals or hold the Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) status.

Candidates must be Andhra Pradesh/Telangana state residents and should meet the local/non-local status requirements by the Educational Institutes in Andhra Pradesh under admission regulations.
Academic Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed or appeared in the qualifying examination of intermediate or 10+2 level or any equivalent examination as recognised by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.
Education Qualification for Engineering
- Candidates must have got a minimum of 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to reserved categories) in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates must have completed the Intermediate Examination (10+2) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as subjects or relevant vocational courses in Engineering and Technology. This examination must be conducted by Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana. Also, candidates who have completed any other examination recognised as equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, are also eligible.
- Candidates waiting for the results of the Final Year Intermediate Examination (10+2) can also apply for APEAPCET 2026. However, ranks obtained in AP EAMCET 2026 will only be valid if they pass the Intermediate Examination.
Education Qualifications for Pharmacy
- Candidates must have got at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination (40% if candidates belong to a reserved category, i.e. SC/ST)
- Candidates must have passed Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as an optional subject or with Biological and Natural Sciences.
- Candidates must have completed the Intermediate Examination (10+2) or equivalent.
Education Qualification for Agriculture
- Candidates must have got a minimum of 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to reserved categories).
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 qualifying examination with Physical Science, Biological Science, Natural Science, Agriculture or a Vocational Course in Agriculture.
Age Limit to Apply for AP EAMCET 2026
The candidates must check age requirement before applying for AP EAMCET 2026.
- For Engineering, candidates must be 17 years of age at the time of admission.
- For Pharmacy, candidates must have completed at least 16 years of age at the time of admission. There is no upper age limit.
- For Agriculture, candidates must have completed 17 years at the time of admission. The upper age limit is 22 years for General, OBC and other candidates and for SC/ST candidates, 25 years is the upper limit.
