IIT Bombay has made the GATE 2021 website live today i.e. July 16, 2020. Read the detailed information below.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, the conducting authority for the GATE 2021, has made the official website (https://gate.iitb.ac.in/) live today. Directors of all the 23 IITs have decided in an online meeting that the IIT Bombay will be the organising institute of GATE 2021.
The exam conducting authority has yet to release the application release and other important dates. It is expected that the institute will announce the dates soon.
As per the earlier trends, it is expected that the IIT Bombay will release the GATE 2021 application forms tentatively in the last week of August or the first week of September 2020. The GATE 2021 exam will be conducted in the first and second week of February. Aspirants can check the tentative schedule for GATE 2021 below.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is conducted in eight zones across the country jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras & Roorkee) with one organising institute on a rotational basis. The exam is conducted every year for admission to postgraduate programmes in engineering/science offered by the top engineering colleges in India. The exam also acts as a gateway for PSU recruitments.
