What are the VITEEE 2024 eligibility criteria?
There are certain criteria that candidates had to meet to be eligible for VITEEE 2024. Some of the basic VIT 2024 eligibility criteria are:
- Candidates should have been born on or after July 1, 2002.
- Should have passed 12th class or equivalent qualifying examination with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
- The candidate should be of Indian nationality or a Non-Resident Indian National/PIO Holder.

Admission to VIT Vellore courses is based on the entrance test and merit. Programmes like BTech, MTech, MBA, MCA admisison is based on entrace test scores, therefore it is important to score good marks in the test. Also, students need to meet the minimum admission criteria.

Admission to the VIT Vellore B.Tech course is based on the VITEEE score. VIT Engineering Entrance Exam is a computer-based test conducted for a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The VITEEE question paper consists of 125 questions. The questions will be based on Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the institute.
Registration: Candidates had to visit the official website. To be registered, they had to provide required details i.e., full name, date of birth, gender, residential status, mobile number and email address. After registration was completed, candidates received a password at their email address and mobile number.

Login: Using generated password and registered email address, candidates had to log in to fill VIT 2024 application form.
Filling the application form: After logging in with registered email address and password, candidates had to fill their personal, academic and contact details. Candidates also had to select their exam centre in order of preference. All provided details had to be valid.
Payment of fee: Next, candidates had to pay the VITEEE 2024 application fee through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment was accepted by the authorities.
VIT 2024 Application Form Fee
Students can select only one exam centre/ test city during VITEEE registration. The test city once selected cannot be changed or edited. Final selection of the VITEEE exam date and time will be done at the time of slot booking.
VIT Vellore conducts counselling round after shortlisting students for admission. The institute shortlist applications based on merit in the last qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12 and fulfilment of the eligibility requirements. At the time of counselling, shortlisted candidates have to report at the institute and submit the important documents for verification. After the document verification and admission fee payment, seat is allotted to the candidate.
VIT Vellore offers BDes with a duration of four years. Candidates seeking admission to BDes courses must pass Class 10 and Class 12 from a recognised board. The admission to the BDes course is UCEED entrance-based. Further, VIT conducts VIT-DAT for students who have not attended UCEED exams. What after VITEEE registration 2024?
After candidates completed the VIT Vellore application form 2024, they could download the form for future reference. However, there was no need to submit the printout physically to authorities. Candidates were also able to check status of their submitted VITEEE 2024 application form by logging in using their application number. In case of any issues with their payment, candidates had to resolve them as soon as possible.
