Candidates will be able to check official NMIMS CET eligibility criteria through the official handout, which will be available online at ncet.nmims.edu. NMIMS CET 2027 Eligibility Criteria: What is the General Criteria?

Candidates have to meet the general eligibility criteria of NMIMS CET 2027 for admissions. If they are found ineligible even after the commencement of the programme, then the candidates will be disqualified.

Age Limit: There is no age limit.

Nationality: Candidates should be of Indian nationality. However, Foreign/PIO/OCI candidates will also be eligible for NMIMS CET admissions.

Academic Qualification: Should have passed 12th standard (or equivalent exam) or Diploma Engineering from a recognized board. Those candidates who will pass 12th standard in the admission year will also be eligible for NMIMS CET.

NMIMS CET Eligibility Criteria 2027: Academic Qualifications

Candidates can check detailed academic qualifications for NMIMS CET eligibility criteria below.

  • Should have passed 12th standard with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Vocational subject. English is a compulsory subject to be eligible for admission.
  • Minimum 45% marks should have been secured in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Vocational Subject.
  • For candidates with Diploma in Engineering, the minimum required marks is 45%.

NMIMS CET 2027 Eligibility Criteria: International Boards

Candidates who have completed their studies from International Baccalaureate and Cambridge Boards need to meet the following criteria:

  • Should have 24 grades/credits compulsory and should have passed Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or other similar subjects at Higher Level (HL) and 3 subjects at Standard Level (SL) plus extended essay and Theory of Knowledge (TOK).
  • For A Level Examination (Cambridge Board), minimum 3 subjects at advance level will be taken into consideration for calculation of aggregate percentage. Ungraded subjects/grades will not be taken into account.
  • For candidates from IB board, an official Indian conversion transcript is required. If a Grade Point Average (GPA) or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is provided, they will have to submit the certified equivalent percentage. It is to be noted that the actual aggregate percentage of all subjects listed on the official grade sheet will be considered for eligibility.
  • Candidates who do not have final mark sheet will be given ‘Provisional Admission’ and will be based on predicted scores. The authorities will accept fees but their admission will be confirmed once final mark sheet is submitted. Only those mark sheets/transcripts issued by Board/University will be considered.

  • Go to ncet.nmims.edu
  • Click on registration portal.
  • Candidates will have to register with their name, email address, mobile number and more.
  • Once registered, login details will be sent to their email address.
  • After logging in, candidates will have to provide all required personal, academic and contact details. The preferred exam centres also have to be selected.
  • Scanned documents have to uploaded as per official specifications.
  • NMIMS CET 2027 application fee has to be paid through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of fee payment will be accepted.

According to previous year's, NMIMS CET question paper difficulty level ranges from moderate to difficult. Difficulty level depends on subject and candidate's preparation. Questions are based on NCERT syllabus for Classes 11 and 12.

Level of NMIMS CET exam will be similar to 12th standard qualifying exam. If candidates have prepared for their boards, they will be able to attempt the exam.

Candidates can take admission in BTech, BTech + MBA Tech and BPharm + MBA Pharm Tech through NMIMS CET.  It is a university-level undergraduate common entrance test. Candidates who pass the exam will be admitted to one of the five NMIMS campuses located at Mumbai, Shirpur, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, Indore and Chandigarh.

The registration fees depends upon the number of school choosen by candidate and number of attempts. For only one school/department the fees is INR 2,000 and for more than one school, the fees is INR 3,000. This fees is non-refundable and non-transferable. Cancellation of registration is not allowed
