Segregate the important chapters, learn these subject-wise, and revise the same thoroughly to clear the UPSEE exam with high scores.

Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) is considered as one of the important exams for U.P students for admissions after Class 12. If you are UPSEE aspirant, then you are quite lucky as you have got much extra time for its preparation till August. In this article, I will discuss some of the useful tips for scoring excellently in UPSEE 2020 by utilising extra time effectively for its preparation.

The syllabus of UPSEE 2020 is similar to JEE Main. I am sure most of the students must have given JEE Main in January, so this would make the preparation of UPSEE a bit easy as you have covered the majority of topics in the JEE Main exam.

The first thing I would suggest is going through the syllabus and the exam pattern in detail as it would help in devising a plan and making the preparation process easier. After that, try to divide the chapters of every subject into three categories as Strong, Average and Weak according to your understanding, learning and preparation.

After dividing the chapters of every subject into these categories, try to make the strong chapters as strongest by putting in little efforts.

Also, work hard for the average category chapters as well as important chapters from the weak category and try to get a full command on these chapters. Now, you might be wondering about the important chapters, so don’t worry and don’t think much about it as I would share the list of important chapters of every subject with you here based on the previous year’s UPSEE papers analysis.

So, my advice would be to focus a bit more on below-listed chapters but do not completely rely on these.

Also, as there is sufficient time for UPSEE 2020 now, so, try to cover the remaining chapters from the weak category after completing the important chapters from it. Even if you could not make those chapters to the strongest category then also reading the chapter once is a better option than skipping those completely.

The important topics from every subject are as follows:

Physics: Ray Optics, Motion in 1D, Magnetic Effect of Current, Waves and Sound, Current Electricity, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Current, Electromagnetic Waves, Photoelectric Effect, Work – Energy – Power, Electrostatics and Atomic Structure in Modern Physics.

Chemistry: Nuclear and Surface Chemistry, Carbonyl Compounds, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, P- block elements, Solid State, Thermodynamics, General Organic Chemistry, Polymers, Biomolecules, Isomerism, Nomenclature & Classification of Organic Compounds and Chemical Kinetics.

Mathematics: Vector, Probability, Differential Equations, Definite Integration, Applications of Derivatives, Matrix and Determinants, Dynamics, Limits and Continuity, Trigonometric and Inverse Trigonometric Functions and Complex Numbers.

Biology: Ecology and Ecosystem, Organic Evolution and its Mechanism, Origin of Life, Plant Cell, Human Genetics and Eugenics, Applied Biology, Genetics and Soil.
