After giving Class 12 board exams, students often find themselves in a dilemma about their future course of action including various entrance exams, colleges, subjects and so on. It is a crucial time for every student. I was in the same situation after my board exams and also, has low expectations with the JEE Main result. I started searching for colleges and their entrance exams. This is how I came to know about Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE). In this article, we will discuss the preparation tips for UPSEE.

As far as my preparation is concerned, I sincerely devised a plan and ensured that I strictly followed the same. In the last week, I revised all the theoretical concepts and common questions, formulae and solved previous years question papers of UPSEE diligently.
Managing time is the key
Proper time management is essential for every student preparing for competitive exams. Allot equal time to all the three subjects and make a plan to cover all the topics in the syllabus. Practise objective type question regularly.
- In Mathematics, give more time to topics such as Vector, 3D, Function, Differential Equations, Matrix, Quadratic Equations, Solution, Probability, and Binomial Theorem
- In Chemistry, cover topics such as General Organic Chemistry, Chemical Bonding, Surface Chemistry, Ionic Equilibrium, S- Block, P- Block and D- Block Element
- In Physics, practise and learn all the topics and formulae
Devising a study plan and adopting a revision approach
The students need to devise a study plan and stick to it. Allot equal time to each subject and complete the same within that time. Revision is also important during the preparation. In my personal experience, my revision approach was simple. I started with Chemistry and after finishing two easy chapters, revised formulae in Mathematics, practised some previous year questions and then started with Physics.
Management of Class 12 exams and entrance preparation
During Class 12 board exams, students should focus on scoring good marks. I focused on the same and secured good marks in Class 12. However, I did not get extra time for UPSEE exam preparation. In such a scenario, students should understand the exam pattern, learn all the important topics and formulae and practise previous year question papers daily to clear the entrance exam and score well.
