Overview

MET Admit Card 2026: Registered candidates will be able to download their MET 2026 admit card for Phase 2 exam on May 20. Official Manipal MET 2026 hall ticket download link will be available online. To download MET admit card, candidates will have to log in with their MAHE application number and OTBS password, which is their date of birth in DDMMYYYY format. However, if the password has been changed during MET slot booking, they will have to use the new one. Through MET 2026 admit card, candidates can check their allotted date, centre, timings, guidelines and more. 

While reporting to their allotted centre, candidates will have to bring their MET admit card 2026 and one valid ID proof for verification. How to download MET 2026 hall ticket?

MAHE will release MET 2026 admit card on May 20 for Phase 2 exam. Candidates will have to download their hall ticket and bring it to allotted MET exam centres 2026 for identification verification. Candidates can follow steps given below to download their admit card. Separate hall tickets are released for different phases of MET exam 2026.

  • Go to manipal.edu
  • Click on OTBS link.
  • Candidates will have to login using their MAHE application number and OTBS password.
  • Once hall ticket is made available, it has to be downloaded and printed out.

While reporting to allotted MET exam centre, candidates will have to carry some important documents. If these documents are now shown for verification, they will not be considered eligible for the exam. No soft copies will be accepted.

MET 2026 Exam Day Instructions

MET 2026 exam day guidelines are available in admit card. Candidates can check some important MET 2026 exam day instructions given below to complete examination without any issues.

  • Candidates should arrive atleast an hour before exam starts to complete their security and frisking process.
  • Hall ticket and one valid photo ID proof are required for verification.
  • Electronic devices such as mobile phones, laptops, tablets, smartwatches are not allowed.
  • Textual or printed materials will also be allowed.
  • Candidates will not be able to enter the exam center after the exam starts. Similarly, they cannot leave the venue before examination ends.
  • Usage of unfair means will not be tolerated.

While there is no official MET dress code announced by MAHE, candidates are advised to follow instructions given below to ensure they complete frisking quickly.

  • Should wear light and comfortable clothes such as T-shirts, cotton shirts and pants.
  • Basic sandals or slippers
  • All clothes should be plain and simply layered so that frisking can be completed easily.
  • Women can opt to wear simple kurtis or salwar suits with dupattas.
  • Should avoid wearing heavily layered clothes, jackets, hoodies, etc.
  • No caps should be worn.
  • Clothes with large pockets should be avoided.
  • Hair accessories such as clips are not allowed.
  • Don’t wear boots, heavy shoes or high heels
  • Scarves or shrugs should be avoided.

MET OTBS password will not be sent individually to the students. The OTBS password to access the MET slot booking facility is the student's date of birth, in the DDMMYYYY format. Using the MET OTBS password and application number, they can login and book their slots.

Q:   Is there any provision for conducting MET exam twice in a year?
A: 

MAHE conducts MET as an annual exam conducted in two phases. Candidates can attempt one or both phases of exam. If both exam phase is attempted, best score will taken for ranking.

In MET counselling process, candidates will first have to register online to pay counselling fee and select choice of courses and campuses. MET seat allotment will be announced online. Selected candidates have to confirm their admission before last date.
