Some of the important exam day guidelines for MET 2026 that should be checked before reporting to examination centre are given below.
- Candidates are advised to report to their allotted MET 2026 exam centre atleast an hour before the examination starts. This will help them to complete the security and verification process quickly.
- MET 2026 hall ticket along with one valid ID proof has to be shown at the exam centre for verification. Without these documents, candidates will not be considered eligible for the exam.
- Electronics devices such as mobile phones, laptops, tablets, smartwatches, etc., will not be allowed inside the exam centre. Textual or written materials will also not be allowed.
- Once the exam starts, candidates will not be allowed to go inside the centre.

At the MET exam centre, the students will have to bring one valid identity proof. They are allowed to bring any one of the following – Aadhaa Card/Voter ID/Passport/PAN Card/School ID, etc. No photocopies of the identity proof will be allowed.
MET slots cannot be changed by students. Since slots are given according to preferences submitted during slot booking, authorities will not accept requests to make any changes. Students should be careful while choosing their slots.
No, the authorities will not accept digital copies of the MET admit card at the exam centre. All students will have to bring a print out of their hall ticket for verification. If the students do not have the physical copy of their admit card, they will not be allowed to attempt the exam.

MET 2026 Slot Booking
For Phase 1 exam, MET slot booking 2026 will be open from March 31 to April 2. During the online slot booking process, candidates will have to select preferred exam slot from the available ones. Since slot booking is done on a first-come-first-serve basis, they should complete the process as soon as possible to have higher chances of booking their preferred slot. Separate slot booking will be open for different phases of MET 2026 exam.
MET 2026 Hall Ticket
MAHE will release the Manipal MET 2026 hall ticket for Phase 1 exam on April 10 at manipal.edu. Candidates will be able to download the admit card by logging in using their application number and OTBS password. Through MET admit card 2026, they can check details of their allotted exam centre, date, timings, guidelines and more. At the exam centre, MET hall ticket along with valid ID proof are essential documents. Once exam centres and slots are allotted, it cannot be changed.
