IBPS PO Apply Online 2025: Last Date (July 28), Registration Process & Eligibility

The application process of IBPS PO exam 2025 comprised the steps such as registration, uploading of scanned photograph and signature, filling out the detailed application form, previewing the application form and payment of application fees. The IBPS PO online applications is started with the release of the official notification. The candidates are required to apply online for the IBPS PO exam 2025. The application form of IBPS PO is accepted online by the eligible candidates. Candidates can pay the application fees online. The application fees are INR 850 for the General and OBC categories and INR 175 for SC/ST/PWBD candidates. The last date to apply was July 28, 2025. The application fee payment dates were July 1 to July 28, 2025.

What is IBPS PO Handwritten Declaration 2025?

The text for the handwritten declaration is given below:

“I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

IBPS PO handwritten declaration should be written by candidates in English only.

How to Fill IBPS PO 2025 Application Form?

The step-by-step process to fill IBPS PO application form is given below:

Step 1: IBPS PO Registration

• Visit the official website 
• Click the link 'New Registration' on the home page of IBPS
• Enter name, phone number, email id, and security code
• Upon successful registration, a provisional registration number and password are generated
• The provisional registration number and password are also sent to the registered email ID and password

Step 2: Upload Photo and Signature

• Post the registration, candidates need to upload the photograph and signature
• Signature in capital letters is not accepted 
• The left thumb impression should be properly scanned and not smudged
• The handwritten declaration should be in English only

Step 3: Fill the Detailed Application Form

This page is divided into three parts, basic details, educational qualification & experience, and preferences. Candidates can below the details to be filled in each part:

Basic details: Here, candidates need to fill in the category, nationality, personal details, select exam centres, date of birth, gender, father's name or mother's name, address, etc. 

Educational qualification, work experience & languages: Here, candidates need to enter details of their graduation such as year of passing, college, percentage of marks, and grade (if any). They are also required to enter their work experience. Candidates are also required to enter the languages they can read, write and speak.

Preferences: Candidates need to enter the preferences of banks where they wish to work upon selection. SC/ST/Minority candidates can opt for pre-exam training in this part. 

Step 4: Preview of IBPS PO Application Form

Candidates must preview the application form before the final submission. They can edit the details entered in the application form while validating the same. Once this is complete, candidates need to agree to the terms and conditions and submit their applications. 

Step 5: Uploading of Left Thumb Impression and Handwritten Declaration

Candidates need to upload the left thumb impression and handwritten declaration before proceeding towards paying the application fee. The left thumb impression should be in jpg/jpeg format in the dimension between 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI. The file size should be between 20kb and 50kb. The handwritten declaration should be in jpg/jpeg format and the dimension should be in 800x400 piexels in 200 DPI. The file size should be 50 kb to 100 kb.

Step 5: Fee Payment 

• The application form is integrated with the payment gateway. Candidates need to follow the steps below for making payment
• The payment can be made by using debit cards, credit cards, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards/ mobile wallets by providing information as asked
• On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt is generated
• Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-receipt and online application form containing fee payment details

To be eligible for the exam, candidates need to fulfil the following IBPS PO eligibility criteria:

• The age of candidates should be between 20 and 30 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit is provided to candidates belonging to the reserved categories.
• Any Graduate candidate can apply for the exam
• Candidates who are in their final year of graduation are not eligible to apply for the exam

• Candidates must have a working knowledge of the computer
