IBPS PO Exam 2025: The Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection released the prelims exam scorecard on October 6, 2025. All those candidates who appeared in the exam can download their IBPS PO Prelims scorecard 2025 at ibps.in or via direct link provided below. The scorecard consists of the total and section-wise marks of candidates whether qualified or not. Candidates can access their scorecard via using the registration number or roll number and password or date of birth. The date of the closure of the result is October 12, 2025. The IBPS PO main admit card 2025 was released on October 1. The candidates can download their admit card from ibps.in. The candidates should note that the IBPS Main exam 2025 will be conducted on October 12, 2025. The candidates need to login with their registration/roll number to download their admit card. 

The IBPS PO prelims result 2025 was released on September 26. The prelims exam was conducted on August 23 and 24 at various centres across the country. Normalisation of IBPS PO Marks

IBPS calculates the IBPS PO marks of the candidates through a method called normalisation that help candidates to get a rounded-up figure. The Institute of Banking and Personnel released the IBPS PO 2025 notification on June 30, 2025. Nationality Requirement

A candidate applying for IBPS CRP/Bank PO Examination must be one of the following:

1. Citizen of India

2. Subject of Nepal or Bhutan

3. Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement

4. Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India

Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India in their favour.

Age Limit

IBPS PO eligibility criteria are certain parameters regarding age and educational qualification. The age limit of candidates for IBPS PO is between 20 and 30 years. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1995 and not later than 01.08.2005 (both dates inclusive).

The IBPS also provides age relaxation to certain categories.  Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to the following categories.

Educational Qualification

The eligibility criteria for the IBPS CRP exam is a graduation degree (BA, BCom, BSc, BTech, etc) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India. Any such candidate who has received equivalent qualification which the Central Government recognizes is also eligible to apply for this exam.

The candidates must have a valid mark sheet/ degree certificate that certifies that they are a graduate on the day they register for this exam, and must indicate the percentage of marks obtained in graduation while registering for the IBPS PO. 

Calculation of Graduation Percentage

The percentage of marks obtained in graduation is arrived at by dividing the total marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects irrespective of honours/optional/additional optional subject, if any) multiplied by 100. This will be applicable for those Universities also where Class/Grade is decided on the basis of Honours marks only. The fraction of percentage so arrived is ignored i.e. 59.99 per cent will be treated as less than 60 per cent and 54.99 per cent are treated as less than 55 per cent.

Computer Literacy

Working knowledge of computer systems is necessary for the job as well as to give the IBPS PO exam which is conducted in online mode.

Language Proficiency

Verbal and written proficiency in the official language of the State/UT is desirable. The candidate must be able to read, write and speak the language.

Q:   What documents do I need to upload while applying for IBPS PO?
A: 

IBPS PO application form needs to be filled online only. While filling the application form, candidates need to upload the scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration. The specifications for uploading these documents are given below.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2025

The IBPS PO 2025 exam pattern was revised. In the Prelims exam, the marking scheme for the Quantitative Aptitude and  Reasoning Ability has been changed. The exam pattern is divided into prelims, mains and interviews. It is explained below in detail:

IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern (Revised)

IBPS PO prelims exam is conducted for one hour with 20 minutes of sectional timings. It consists of three sections with a total of 100 questions. The total marks allotted to the test are 100 marks. There is a negative marking in IBPS PO and 0.25 marks are deducted for a wrong answer. IBPS PO exam pattern is given below.

IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern (Revised)

In the Mains exam now, 145 objective questions will be asked for 200 marks and an additional Descriptive Paper worth 25 marks will be asked, making the total 225 marks. Each section is separately timed which is demanding better time management from the candidates. IBPS PO mains exam pattern comprises both objective and descriptive-type tests. The duration of the test is 3 hours 10 minutes. The total marks allotted to the test are 225. Candidates qualifying the mains exam are called for an interview.

IBPS PO Interview

Shortlisted candidates for the mains exam are called for the interview, which is conducted by the participating organizations and coordinated by the nodal bank. The interview carries 100 marks. In the interview, candidates are asked questions based on the Banking Sector, Current Affairs, General Awareness, etc. The minimum qualifying mark in the interview is 40 per cent (35 per cent for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates).

The IBPS PO (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Probationary Officer) exam has two stages: the preliminary exam and the main exam. The syllabus for both exams is different. Q:   What is IBPS PO 2025 Educational Qualification?
A: 

IBPS PO educational qualification is a Degree/Graduation in any discipline from a university recognised by the government. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Candidates must possess valid marksheet/degree Certificate that they are graduate on the day they register and indicates the percentage of marks obtained in graduation while registration online. All educational mentioned by the examination authority should be from a university/institution/board recognised by government. Of India/approved by government/approved by government  on or before July 21, 2025.  Proper document from Board / University for having declared the result on or before
July 21, 2025 has to be submitted at the time of interview. Candidates who are in the final year of graduation are not eligible to apply for the exam. At the time of interview, candidates are required to submit the educational qualification certificates.
