Commonly asked questions
Q:   What is the safe score for MH CET Law 2026?
A:

Candidates can expect the following score to be safe to secure seats in top Colleges accepting MH CET Law score including GLC Mumbai and ILS Pune for the 3-year LLB MH Law CET exam:

MH CET Law Safe score105+
MH Law CET most probable score100+
MH CET Law (OMS category safe score)100+
MH CET Law (MS category safe score)90-100

Q:   What is a good rank in MH CET law?
A:

To get admission to the best colleges accepting MH CET Law scores, for example, Government Law College (GLC), Mumbai, and ILS Law College, Pune, candidates must score above 95. The cut-off depends on- category, paper difficulty, number of candidates, etc. Each category has a different cut-off score.

Q:   Is 70 a good score in MHCET Law?
A:

Getting 70 marks in MHT CET is seen as an average score. It mostly comes around 82 to 86 percentile, depending on which shift you wrote the exam in. With this score, you can still get seats in some good private or mid-level state engineering colleges, but it's tough to get into top ones like COEP or VJTI. It's not really a high score, but it stays above the basic eligibility line and gives you fair options. Still, if you aim for 120+ marks, it's safer for strong branches like CSE or IT, where the competition stays high every year.

Q:   When will the MHCET Law result be released?
A:

The MHCET Law 2026 result is likely to come out sometime between May and June 2026. You can check your MHCET Law scorecard once it's uploaded by the CET Cell Maharashtra on the official site cetcell.mahacet.org. The result date may shift a bit, so it's good you keep checking the website often for updates.
