Q:   What are the SLAT exam slot timings?
A:

SLAT was conducted in one slot only. The slot timing for the SLAT exam was 9 AM to 10 AM. For both SLAT Test 1 and Test 2, the test slot timing was 9 AM to 10 AM. The slot timing for the exam could also be found on the admit card. The other details mentioned on the SLAT admit card were the candidate’s name, admission category, SLAT ID, exam date, SLAT Test centre address, date of birth, space for the test taker’s signature, and instructions related to appearing in the SLAT exam centre.

Q:   What is the process of selecting the SLAT test city for the allotment of the exam centre?
A:

There are more than 75 cities where the SLAT exam is conducted. These 75 cities, spread across India, consist of metropolitan cities, capital cities, Tier-2 cities, and Tier-3 cities. The candidate can select up to three cities for the allotment of test centres. The process of test city selection is part of the SLAT application process. In the SLAT application form, there is a field in which candidates have to select the cities. They need to select the city of preference in an order of 1 to 3. The examination authorities will try to allot the test centre to the city of first preference. Thus, candidates must fill out all three cities carefully. They must choose their home city or city of current residence as their first preference. The test city option can only be changed during the form correction window. After that, the request for a change of city will not be accepted by the exam authorities.

Q:   How can I get information about SLAT centres?
A:

You can get information about the SLAT centres on the website of the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), set-test.org. To check the list of all the exam centres, SLAT aspirants need to visit this website. On the homepage of the website, they can find a tab with the name "Test Cities." Once you click on this tab, the entire list of SLAT exam centres for a particular year will appear. You can opt for any of the test cities of your choice from this list while filling out the SLAT application form.

Q:   Where can I get the address of my SLAT exam centre?
A:

You can find the address of your SLAT exam centre on your SLAT admit card. The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) Authority tries to allot the test centre to a candidate according to his or her first preference for the test city. However, there is no assurance that the test authority will always provide candidates with the centre as per their preference. When there is high demand for a particular test centre, candidates will receive the test centres as per the second or third city preferred by them. All SLAT aspirants need to know that the exam authority does not change a test centre once it is allotted to a candidate. Thus, there is no need to worry about the fact that their test centre will be changed at the last moment.
