Q:   Can I get admission at SLS Pune without entrance exam?
A: 

The requirement of entrance exam varies course-wise. Aspirants need to pass SLAT for admission to Integrated Law programmes - BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons). For LLB and LLM, candidates must pass AIAT conducted by SIU. Besides, candidates do not require passing an entrance exam for admission to Diploma programme. 

Q:   How to apply for LLM in Symbiosis?
A: 

Symbiosis International University (SIU) conducts the Symbiosis Law School All India Admission Test for admission to the LLM course every year. To apply for SLS entrance exam, candidates must have cleared five-year of three-year LLB degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 45% aggregate in case of General category candidate.

For candidates belonging to SC or ST category, the minimum required percentage is 40%. Also, the candidates whose LLB results are awaited can register for the entrance test. Provided, they will have to submit their passing certificate at the time of admission to the university. 

Q:   Is SLAT compulsory for admission at SLS Pune?
A: 

The requirement of SLAT varies course-wise. Candidates seeking admission in BA LLB (Hons) or BBA LLB (Hons) courses must have a valid SLAT score for admission. However, SLAT is not required for any other offered programmes. SIU conducts SLAT or Symbiosis Law Admission Test once in a year in computer-based mode. Those who pass the test are further required to qualify the PI round for admission.

Q:   Is it tough to get admission to B.A LL.B at Symbiosis Law School?

The answer to this depends upon the qualification of candidates. To get admission to BA LLB course the candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria: 

  • Candidate should have obtained Class 12 or equivalent examination from any recognised board with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade.
  • Those belonging to SC/ ST category should have obtained 40% marks to be eligible.
  • They should appear for the SLAT exam 2025.
