No, the university do not accept CLAT score for admission to the LLM course. It accepts AIAT score for admission to LLM course. AIAT is conducted by SIU for admission to LLM programme. Aspirants who have passed AIAT have to further qualify the Personal Interaction round for final admission.
The answer to this depends upon the qualification of candidates. To get admission to BA LLB course the candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- Candidate should have obtained Class 12 or equivalent examination from any recognised board with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade.
- Those belonging to SC/ ST category should have obtained 40% marks to be eligible.
- They should appear for the SLAT exam 2025.
- Based on the SLAT score, candidates are shortlisted for WAT-PI rounds. Please check the respective Institute website for information and dates of WAT-PI.
In order to be eligible for the BA LLB course at Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur, the student must possess at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST candidate) in her/his 10+2/Higher Secondary education. Symbiosis International University (SIU) conducts the Symbiosis Law School All India Admission Test for admission to the LLM course every year. To apply for SLS entrance exam, candidates must have cleared five-year of three-year LLB degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 45% aggregate in case of General category candidate.
For candidates belonging to SC or ST category, the minimum required percentage is 40%. Also, the candidates whose LLB results are awaited can register for the entrance test. Provided, they will have to submit their passing certificate at the time of admission to the university.
The requirement of entrance exam varies course-wise. Aspirants need to pass SLAT for admission to Integrated Law programmes - BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons).
