Symbiosis is a Greek term meaning 'Living together for the mutual benefit of each other.' Therefore, Symbiosis International (Deemed to be University) is a group of Institutes that offer MBA, Engineering, Law, Design, Science, and other courses. All the courses offered by various Symbiosis institutes are called the schools that accept admission on the basis of Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) for the respective course. A total of four law institutes fall under the SIU umbrella:

Q:   How many Symbiosis colleges accept SLAT scores?
A:
A total of 4 colleges, including SLS Nagpur, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad, and SLS Pune, accept the SLAT exam. Candidates need to pass the SLAT exam, PI and What to get admission to one of the four colleges that accept SLAT scores. The weightage for SLAT PI and What will be considered for admission to Symbiosis Law College. The weight of the SLAT entrance test will be 50 marks. The weights of PI and What will be 30 marks and 20 marks, respectively.
Q:   Can I get direct admission at SLS Pune?

SLS Pune offers admission to UG, PG and PhD programmes based on entrance exam scores of the candidates. SIU conducts SLAT and AIAT for admission to integrated Law and LLB/ LLM courses. Those who pass the test are further called for a personal interaction round. Besides, aspirants can get admission in Diploma programme directly based on their merit in the qualifying exam.

In Symbiosis Law School, admission to all the UG law courses is based on Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT). Candidates need to apply for the admission test, qualify it, and appear in WAT/PI for final admission.

Q:   Is SLAT compulsory for admission at SLS Pune?
A:

The requirement of SLAT varies course-wise. Candidates seeking admission in BA LLB (Hons) or BBA LLB (Hons) courses must have a valid SLAT score for admission. However, SLAT is not required for any other offered programmes. SIU conducts SLAT or Symbiosis Law Admission Test once in a year in computer-based mode. Those who pass the test are further required to qualify the PI round for admission.

Q:   Who can enroll for course admission at Symbiosis Law School, Symbiosis International, Nagpur?
A:

To enrol for a course at Symbiosis Law School, Symbiosis International, Nagpur, students must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college.  Candidates need to pass at least Class 12 and a graduation for course admission.
