Questions based on data are in the form of two statements labelled (i) and (ii )

Problem-Solving

  • Sequences and Series (Analogies of numbers and alphabet, completion of blank spaces following the pattern in a:b::c:d relationship, missing number in a sequence or a series)
  • Data Analysis (Data will be given in a table, Graph, Bar diagram, Pie Chart, Venn Diagram or Passage and one needs to analyse the questions about the data)
  • Coding and Decoding Problems (A code pattern of the English Alphabet will be given. A given word or a group of letters are to be coded or decoded based on given code or codes)
  • Date, Time & Arrangement Problems (Calendar problems, clock problems, blood relationships, arrivals, departures and schedules, seating arrangements, symbol and notation interpretation.

Q:   When will APICET notification release?
A:

Andhra Pradesh ICET 2026 notification will be released in first week of March 2026. Candidates who are willing to appear for the Andhra Pradesh ICET exam must check the important dates. The registration process will commence soon after the release of notification. The notification of Andhra Pradesh ICET 2026 mentions the complete details about the important dates, eligibility criteria, application form, admit card, answer key and results.

Q:   What is the reporting time at APICET exam centre?
A:

APICET 2026 exam will be held in first week of May 2026 in two sessions. The first session of Andhra Pradesh ICET 2026 exam willcommence in morning from 9 AM and the second session will commence in forenoon 2.30 pm. Candidates who will be allotted the first slot must report at the exam centre by 8.30 whereas, candidates who will be allotted the second shift must report at the exam centre by 2 pm. Candidates must complete the frisking process for entry to the examination hall. Candidates are advised to visit the allotted APICET 2026 exam centre on the day before the examination to become familiar with the route and exam centre.

Q:   When is the APICET exam conducted?
A:

The AP ICET 2026 exam date will be announced in first week of March 2026. The exam will be held tentatively in first week of May in two slots. The exam is held in offline mode across 25 districts of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates will have the option to enter maximum four exam center preferences while filling the AP ICET 2026 application form. Based on the options entered, candidates will be alloted the exam centre as per the availability. Candidates will be able to check the alloted APICET exam centre on release of the AP ICET admit card. The admit card will be released in first week of May 2026. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket for AP ICET 2026 till the date of the examination.

Candidates must use their senses and see what is happening around them. This will help aspirants to note the small details that can help in analytical reasoning. While attempting AP ICET analytical ability questions, the text may seem simple; however, some details have to be observed to understand the diagram.

Reading quality books improves analytical thinking skills. Reading keeps the mind active. Candidates must engage, put questions or make predictions to stay engaged with the reading material.

Q:   What is the exam time for APICET?
A:

Andhra Pradesh ICET exam will be held in two sessions tentatively in first week of May. The first session will be held in morning from 9 AM to 11.30 AM and the second session will be conducted in forenoon from 2.30 PM pm to 5 PM. Andhra Pradesh ICET 2025 exam will be held tentatively on May 06. Candidates who registered for the Andhra Pradesh ICET exam were notified about the exam time on release of the Andhra Pradesh ICET admit card. Candidates had to report at the allotted AP ICET exam centre one hour prior to the given examination time. No request for change in examination centre, exam date and time will be entertained once the admit card is issued.

Q:   What is Andhra Pradesh ICET normalization process?
A:
Andhra Pradesh ICET normalization process ensures that candidates are neither advantages nor disadvantaged as per the difficulty level of the examination across the four sessions of the exam. The normalization process is implemented to normalize the scores and rank the candidates for the exams across all the sessions at a competitive scale. As per the Andhra Pradesh ICET normalization process, the marks of the easier session may be reduced marginally and the marks of the difficulty session will be increased depending on the average performance of the candidates. In case, there is no much difference in the average of the four-sessions, there will be no change in the normalization marks. A:

Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test is conducted in two slots. Andhra Pradesh ICET 2026 exam will be held tentatively on May 07, 2026 as per the following schedule:
