AP ICET 2026: Last-Minute Preparation Tips

Revise tricky topics and formulas: Quick revision before the exam is important. No matter how much hard work is put in for exam preparation, the result will be based on how well topics are revised. Make a list of important topics, shortcut tricks, and formulas that need to revise ahead of the exam.

Avoid learning new topics: Covering a new topic in the last hour can create confusion or lower confidence level of the candidate. Therefore, it is advised that the candidates should not pick new topics. They should rather focus on their strengths and revise topics already covered.

Solve previous year question papers: Once at least 50% of the AP ICET syllabus is covered, it will be easier to practice sectional mocks. This will help have familiarity with the exam pattern, topic-wise distribution of marks,  type of questions asked in the exam, and question paper difficulty level.

Plan exam day: Candidate must plan their activities on the examination day well in advance. From getting enough sleep to organising all necessary items for the examination, candidates should make sure everything is in place to avoid any last-minute rush on the examination day.

Stay positive: Candidate needs to enter the examination hall with a positive mind. Even if the question paper is difficult, candidates should create a strategy and should put in their best effort.

A:

Andhra Pradesh ICET 2026 notification will release tentatively in last week of February 2026. Candidates who are willing to appear for the Andhra Pradesh ICET exam must check important dates. The registration process will commence soon after release of notification. The notification of Andhra Pradesh ICET 2026 mentions the complete details about the important dates, eligibility, application form, admit card, answer key and results. As per latest APSCHE AP ICET 2026 notification, AP ICET 2026 exam will be held on April 28 in offline mode.

Q:   What is the reporting time at APICET exam centre?
A:

APICET 2026 exam will be held in first week of May 2026 in two sessions. The first session of Andhra Pradesh ICET 2026 exam willcommence in morning from 9 AM and the second session will commence in forenoon 2.30 pm. Candidates who will be allotted the first slot must report at the exam centre by 8.30 whereas, candidates who will be allotted the second shift must report at the exam centre by 2 pm. Candidates must complete the frisking process for entry to the examination hall. Candidates are advised to visit the allotted APICET 2026 exam centre on the day before the examination to become familiar with the route and exam centre.

Q:   When is the APICET exam conducted?
A:

The AP ICET 2026 exam date has been announced. The exam will be held on April 28 in two slots. The exam is held in offline mode across 25 districts of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates will have the option to enter maximum four exam center preferences while filling the AP ICET 2026 application form. Based on the options entered, candidates will be alloted the exam centre as per the availability. Candidates will be able to check the alloted APICET exam centre on release of the AP ICET admit card. The admit card will be released in third week of April 2026. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket for AP ICET 2026 till the date of the examination.

AP ICET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

  • Reach the exam centre at least an hour ahead of the reporting time to avoid any last-minute rush. The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode. Candidates must maintain social distancing at the exam centre 
  • Carry AP ICET 2026 admit card to the examination centre. Present the admit card while entering the exam centre.
  • Take one photo-identity proof, both the original as well a photocopy.
  • Avoid carrying electronic gadgets to the examination centre
  • Do not carry bags, textbooks, pens, pencils, or any other stationery
  • Read the instructions carefully before appearing in the exam

Q:   What is the exam time for APICET?
A:

Andhra Pradesh ICET exam will be held in two sessions on April 28. The first session will be held in morning from 9 AM to 11.30 AM and the second session will be conducted in forenoon from 2.30 PM pm to 5 PM. Candidates who register for the Andhra Pradesh ICET exam are notified about the exam time on release of the Andhra Pradesh ICET admit card. Candidates have to report at the allotted AP ICET exam centre one hour prior to the given examination time. No request for change in examination centre, exam date and time will be entertained once the admit card is issued.
