APICET 2026 Exam Highlights
Before appearing for the APICET 2026 exam, candidates must know the important highlights related to the entrance examination as mentioned below:
- The exam will be held in a Computer-based mode
- AP ICET exam centres are across 25 districts of Andhra Pradesh.
- The exam will be conducted in two slots in a single-day window
- APICET exam will be conducted for 150 minutes
- The question paper will be divided into three sections
- The medium of the question paper will be in English & Telugu. The Section-B (Communication Ability) of AP ICET exam will be in English medium only.
- There will be no sectional limit. Candidates will be able to attempt any section at their convenience.

Candidates appearing for the AP ICET 2026 exam must follow these important do’s and don’ts to ensure a smooth exam day experience.
AP ICET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines: Do’s
- Candidates must carry and show the AP ICET 2026 hall ticket at the entrance of the exam centre. Without it, entry will not be allowed.
- Reach the allotted AP ICET exam centre at least one hour before the reporting time to avoid delays.
- Candidates should cooperate with the examination staff during the identity verification process.
- Test takers must carry all required documents, including the AP ICET admit card 2026 and valid ID proof.
- Candidates should check their allotted room or hall number based on their roll number before entering the exam hall.
- Carefully listen to all instructions given by the invigilator before and during the exam.
- Candidates can attempt questions from any section first, as there is no sectional time limit in the AP ICET exam.
- Use the rough sheets provided at the exam centre for calculations and notes.
AP ICET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines: Don’ts
- Candidates must not carry prohibited items, as it may lead to disqualification or cancellation of the exam.
- Do not carry only a digital copy of the hall ticket. A printed copy of the AP ICET hall ticket is mandatory.
- Candidates should not leave their seats after completing the exam until instructed by the invigilator.
- Candidates must not panic if they come across difficult or tricky questions. Stay calm and manage time wisely.
- Avoid spending too much time on one question. Move to the next question and return later if needed.
- Submit the rough sheet and other required materials after the completion of the exam.
APICET Exam Day Guidelines
- Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall from 7.30 AM to 9 AM for the morning slot and from 1.30 PM to 3 PM for the forenoon slot.
- Candidates will not be allowed to enter once the examination commences and will not be allowed to leave the exam centre until the end of the examination.
- Students must listen to the instructions carefully. Once the test begins, candidates must understand the symbols to answer carefully. No clarification or doubts related to the question of the examination paper will be entertained.
- In case of any hardware or software issues, candidates must raise their hands to talk to the invigilator. The problem will be rectified within a reasonable time.
- The check-in procedure inside the AP ICET exam centre includes capturing of biometric information (your photo and left-hand thumb impression). This is a security feature which will allow AP ICET 2026 authorities to verify the candidate's identity and also avoid impersonation. Therefore, students are advised not to apply any external materials like Mehanadi, Ink etc. on their Hands/Feet.
- Adoption of any unfair practices will lead to the disqualification of the candidate.
- No travelling expenses will be paid for the journey to take the AP ICET 2026 exam.
- AP ICET 2026 hall ticket must be preserved till the time of admission in the college.
