Six-Month Preparation Strategy for OJEE Exam

  • Make a timetable: When you start your preparation for the OJEE exam, the first thing you need to do is make a monthly, weekly and daily timetable. Make sure you follow the timetable without fail and diligently. Make a timetable such that it covers all the topics of the OJEE syllabus and there is enough time left for revision of what you have studied during these six months. Candidates are given only 120 minutes to solve the OJEE question paper, hence you must keep in mind that OJEE is a time-based exam and therefore, time management is really important.
  • Prepare using the right study material: OJEE study material is available online as well as offline. But what is important is that you refer to the right study material. Find the right set of books that will cover all the important topics of the OJEE syllabus. You can also watch videos available on the internet for your preparations as videos are an interactive and more effective way to memorize topics.

  • Practice mock tests and previous year question papers: Practicing mock tests and solving previous years’ OJEE questions papers is an integral part of the preparations. This will not only help you understand the OJEE exam pattern and the difficulty level of the questions but also, help you in recognizing your strengths and weaknesses. Practicing will also increase your speed and accuracy in solving difficult and lengthy questions.
  • Topic-wise revision: It is very important to revise what you have studied thoroughly. The best approach to revise each topic is the section-wise revision. While revising, analyse your answers and try to answer questions that have been left unanswered. This will help you work on your weak areas in a better way.
  • Be focused and confident: Being confident and focused is of utmost importance while preparing for the OJEE exam. Avoid procrastinating during the preparations and try to stay focused and motivated. While preparations make sure you take small breaks in between to keep your mind fresh and stress-free. Try and stay calm while solving the questions.

Follow the above tips to crack the OJEE exam 2025 which can be a big help in preparations for OJEE in six months. Good luck!

Q:   How many test cities can I choose for OJEE exam?
A:

Candidates can choose upto three OJEE test cities according to their preference. Candidates must very carefully select the cities as once the OJEE application form is submitted, they can't change city preference. They should choose the first city of preference as their hometome or where they are residing as the exam authorities will likely allot the test centres to candidates in their first city of preference. Candidates are allotted a test centre in second or third preference only if the seats have been filled or the exam centre has been cancelled at that location. Candidates should know that the OJEE test cities cannot be changed once the form is submitted even during the form correction window.
