Q: Can I make changes in the IBSAT application form?

Candidates can save and change the information in the IBSAT application form before the payment of the application form. Once the application form is submitted candidates will not be able to edit or change the personal information. There will be no provision for an application form correction window. Candidates are advised to enter the details carefully while filling the application form. Candidates must note that they can enter their CAT or relevant MBA entrance exam scores after submitting the application form. IBSAT 2025 registrations will commence on July 01, 2025. The last date of registration for IBSAT 2025 will be notified. Only candidates who completed the IBSAT registration form along with the payment of the application fee will be able to appear for the exam.

Q: I have a valid score in XAT, do I have to fill IBSAT application form?

Yes, candidates having valid score in CAT/NMAT/XAT/SNAP/MAT or any other national or state level examination will have to fill the IBSAT application form. Candidates having score in any of the above mentioned exams will be exempted from taking IBSAT exam. Score from 2023 onwards will be applicable or admission to MBA/PGDM programmes of IBS. The IBSAT 2025 registration fee is INR 1800. Candidates applying for the IBSAT 2025 will be required to pay the application fee of INR 1800 after completing the application form. Candidates failing to pay the application fee before the last date will not be able to appear for the entrance exam.

For successful registration, candidates must ensure to pay the IBSAT application fee of INR 1800. As per the IBSAT eligibility criteria, a candidate must be a graduate with a required minimum percentage. Also, candidates appearing in the final examination ofa qualifying degree will be eligible for IBSAT exam. Only candidates who will fill the complete application form along with the payment of the application fee will be issued the IBSAT admit card.

Q: IBSAT application form requires CAT exam details but I've not appeared CAT exam. How can I fill up the form?

Candidates desiring to take admission to the MBA/PGDM programme of IBS campuses must fill the IBSAT application form compulsorily. Candidates having a valid scores in CAT/XAT/CMAT or any other state-level examination will be exempted from taking the IBSAT exam. While filling the IBSAT application form candidates must enter their personal details and academic details. If the candidate has appeared for any of the MBA entrance examinations, he/she must enter the score obtained to get exempted from appearing in the IBSAT exam. However, if a candidate does not have CAT score, he/she can skip entering the CAT score and proceed to the next step. Such candidates will have to appear for the IBSAT exam when scheduled. IBSAT 2024 exam will be held tentatively in last week of December 2024. The exam is conducted in remote proctored mode. Candidates will be able to take the exam from their own laptops/desktops.
