The key to mastering this section lies in understanding basic concepts before moving to advanced problem-solving. Candidates should begin with topics such as percentages, ratios, averages, profit and loss, and time-speed-distance. These form the foundation for most questions asked in the exam. Algebra and basic geometry should also be covered, but the focus should remain on clarity rather than complexity.
Consistent practice is crucial. Solving 20 to 30 questions daily and revising formulas regularly can significantly improve performance. Instead of attempting difficult questions immediately, aspirants should gradually move from easy to moderate levels to build confidence and speed.

Logical Reasoning: Enhancing Analytical Thinking

Logical Reasoning is a scoring section if approached correctly. It primarily tests a candidate’s ability to think logically and solve structured problems within a limited time. Important topics include seating arrangements, puzzles, coding-decoding, syllogisms, and blood relations. The best way to prepare for this section is to practice full sets rather than isolated questions. This helps in developing a pattern-recognition ability, which is essential for solving questions quickly.
Time management plays a crucial role here. Candidates must learn to identify lengthy or complex sets and skip them initially to avoid wasting time. Accuracy should always be prioritized over the number of attempts.

OJEE and JEE syllabus is somewhat same and different in some places. The OJEE syllabus for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is different from JEE. In JEE, the physics syllabus includes topics such as Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Optics, etc. These topics require knowledge of physics topics.
