FMGE 2026 Question Paper & Answer Key PDF
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences(NBEMS) is conducting the Foreign Medical Graduate Exam (FMGE) 2026 today in two shifts. The NBEMS does not release the official question paper and answer key pdf in the public domain. It follows a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement(NDA).
The FMGE is conducted for candidates who have completed their MBBS in a foreign country and are required to clear it to become eligible for a medical practitioner license in India. The FMGE is only a qualifying exam; candidates need to score over 50% marks in the exam to clear the exam.

FMGE 2026 Exam Analysis
The FMGE exam shift one was over at 11.30 AM. The candidates who appeared in the exam shared that the paper was difficult. The candidates who have conceptual clarity found the paper doable. The candidates who researched the topics (given in the syllabus) found the paper easy to answer. The paper demanded in-depth research of the medicine system.
It also demanded clarity of the fundamental concepts of the medicine system.

The FMGE 2026 city imtimation slip has been released and the admit card was out on 24 June. The exam will be conducted on 28 June.
There are around 35- 40 thousands student participate in the FMGE exam every year. According to the previous year FMGE result statistics, the number of candidates who qualify and secure the FMGE certificates every session is between 20 - 30 %. Though this data can be changed if the number of applicants or difficulty level of exam changes drastically.
Last year in 2023 a total of 38,355 applicants participate and the FMGE passing percentage was 23%.
No official announcement was made regarding the changes/modifications in the FMGE exam pattern for the upcoming exam cycle. In case any changes will be there, it will be updated for the aspirants. Applicants are advised to prepare for the exam as per the previous exam pattern of FMGE.
FMGE 2026 Question Paper PDF
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Examinations does not release the question paper pdf in the public domain. The FMGE questions available in the public domain are memory-based only. The candidates need to practice with these questions because these questions are shared by the candidates who appeared in the exam.
The FMGE 2026 will be over at 4.30 PM and the candidates will get the FMGE 2026 question paper pdf when it is available in the public domain.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Examinations does not release the FMGE answer key in the public domain. The candidates need to prepare all the topics mentioned in the FMGE syllabus.

FMGE 2026 Shift Timing
The FMGE test the candidates for Pre, Para and Clinical subjects in two shifts. The candidates need to score at least 50 % marks in both the papers separately. The candidates can see the FMGE 2026 shift timing below:

May 16 to 18 - Phase 1 - Only the details of the applications can be modified.
May 21 to June 10 - Phase 2 - Corrections were allowed in the images uploaded during the application process.
