Question: Heartiest congratulations on achieving All India Rank 1 in NEET UG 2026! Whom do you credit for this success?
Aryan Gupta: Thank you so much. I completely credit my success to my elder brother, my parents, and my teachers. It was my teachers who guided me through the preparation by suggesting the mock tests and study material way before NEET exam dates.
Question: A lot of aspirants wonder about the NEET topper preparation strategy. What was your daily study schedule and revision strategy for the NEET UG 2026 exam?
Aryan Gupta: I dedicated around 12 hours a day to self-study. My revision strategy relied heavily on taking lots of tests and continuous question solving. Rather than just counting hours, I focused more on targeted, high-quality study sessions.
Question: Each subject requires a different approach. What was your exact strategy for studying Biology, Chemistry, and Physics?
Aryan Gupta: My approach was straightforward: I placed complete trust in my teachers. They suggested that I follow the Narayana tests and study material, which I did diligently. Additionally, I made sure to allocate equal time to all three subjects so that no area was left weak.

Question: How did you build your conceptual clarity and speed for the exam?
Aryan Gupta: I built my clarity and speed by solving multiple questions covering all difficulty levels. I regularly gave part tests and full-syllabus mock tests, and made it a strict habit to track my scores on a regular basis to monitor my progress.
Question: How did you split your preparation between Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry, and Biology?
Aryan Gupta: I had a strong desire to ace Biology, and through consistent effort, I eventually managed to get a full score in it. While doing so, I distributed my time carefully across all segments to ensure I could focus equally on all subjects and sections without neglecting anything.
Question: What was your strategy to avoid negative marking in the exam?
Aryan Gupta: To eliminate negative marks in NEET results, I practised a wide variety of tests and studied incredibly hard. Following the specific Narayana tests recommended by my teachers gave me the exact practice I needed to stay cautious and accurate.
Question: How important do you feel NEET mock tests and previous year question papers (PYQs) are to crack the NEET UG 2026 exam?
Aryan Gupta: They are absolutely critical if you are aiming for a perfect score. In fact, to push my boundaries for the Physics section, I even solved JEE previous year question papers (PYQs). As a result of that extra edge, I secured a full score in Physics.
Question: What was your time management strategy to balance speed and accuracy across all three subjects during the actual exam?
Aryan Gupta: Practising multiple mock tests beforehand was key. It helped me develop the right exam temperament, which naturally taught me how to manage both speed and accuracy efficiently while moving through the subjects.
Question: Finally, what is your advice for future NEET aspirants?
Aryan Gupta: My advice is simple: work hard and do not stress about the final result. Plan your preparation systematically, set small and realistic daily targets, write lots of tests, and always track your scores to keep improving.
