The exam pattern of RUHS Pharmacy 2026 will be mentioned in the official brochure along with the release of the notification. By knowing the RUHS pharmacy exam pattern 2026 applicants can prepare their strategy to qualify for the exam. The RUHS Pharmacy exam pattern will throw light upon the important areas of the exam, such as the type of questions expected, difficulty level of the questions, exam mode, medium, exam duration, and other important details. The RUHS Pharmacy application forms for BPharmacy, DPharmacy, and MPhamracy will be available on the official website of the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur. The RUHS, Jaipur, which is the exam conducting body of RUHS Pharmacy will announce the commencement date to register and apply for the exam. RUHS Pharmacy 2026 exam is scheduled to be conducted in May 2026, for admissions in BPharmacy and  DPharmacy courses.

RUHS pharmacy 2026 exam will be an online entrance test for Rajasthan Centralised Admissions (RCA). The exam will have two sections Physics and Chemistry. The questions from these sections will be asked in the exam. It will be based on the topics studied in class 11 and class 12.

The RUHS Pharmacy exam pattern will be notified in the official notification. According to the exam pattern of RUHS Pharmacy 2026, the exam will be a total of 100 marks. The bifuercation of RUHS Pharmacy will comprise two subjects Physics and Chemistry. Each subject will have 50 questions.

RUHS exam is a computer based test which carries 100 objective type questions from Physics and Chemistry subjects. There will be no negative marking. The RUHS Pharmacy Exam is conducted in online mode (Computer-based test). The exam will have two sections: Physics and Chemistry which will be based on the topics studied in class 11 and class 12. The question paper is to be solved in 2 hours.

The distribution of marks in the RUHS Pharmacy exam is mentioned in the official notification. As per previous year trends, the RUHS Pharmacy exam will have two subjects: Physics and Chemistry. Both these subjects have equally fifty (50) questions each. Each question carries 1 mark. In totality, the RUHS Pharmacy 2025 exam will be conducted for a total of 100 marks.

Q:   How many questions will be asked from Physics subject in RUHS Pharmacy exam?

The Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur will conduct RUHS Pharmacy exam. It will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. There will be 50 questions for Physics subjects and same 50 for Chemistry subject from which questions will be asked in the RUHS Pharmacy entrance exam. In totality the exam will be conducted for a total of 100 marks.   

Q:   Is there negative marking scheme in RUHS Pharmacy?

Applicants who want to appear in the RUHS Pharmacy exam must note that the negative marking scheme is not applicable in the exam. Hence students are advised to attempt all the questions which are asked in the exam as the marks will not carry any negative marks. The RUHS Pharmacy 2025 exam will be of 100 marks.

Students who want to appear in RUHS CUET exam must note the marking scheme. There is no negative marking scheme in exam. Applicants are advised to attempt all questions that are asked in the exam. For each correct answer, students will get +1 mark. Hence, one must attempt all those questions also which he/she is not aware of by making a guess.

Q:   Which type questions are asked in RUHS Pharmacy exam?

The nature of questions which will be asked in the RUHS Pharmacy exam is of MCQ (multiple choice questions) type. Each question will have a total of four options in answer. One of the four choice will be correct answer. A total of 100 questions will be asked in the exam.

Who is Eligible for RUHS Pharmacy?

Candidates who met the specified criteria were considered eligible for the RUHS Pharmacy 2026 exam. RUHS has set certain criteria for BPharm and DPharm aspirants. The eligibility criteria are the basic requirements a candidate should possess before appearing for the RUHS Pharmacy 2026 exam. The eligibility criteria mentioned by the RUHS are

  • Candidates who wish to pursue a BPharma should have passed in 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination (with mandatory subjects like English, Physics, and Chemistry along with Biology and/or Mathematics in the 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination)
  • Candidates who wish to pursue a D. Pharm should have passed in 10+2 examination or intermediate examination or the first year of the three-year degree course or pre-degree examination or an equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects Biology / Mathematics
  • Candidates should pass the individual subjects – English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Mathematics.
  • According to the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) notification, candidates from open schools are also eligible for admission to B. Pharm. and D.Pharm courses.
  • Seat reservation is subject to the provisions of the Government of Rajasthan for State domicile candidates. Candidates falling in the reservation category are required to produce the caste certificate (SC, ST, OBC Non-creamy layer, MBC Non-creamy layer) or the additional category certificate (PwD, if applicable) issued by the competent authority. The above certificates will be required to be produced during the time of reporting at the allotted college.
  • All the residents of India can apply for admission to B. Pharm and D. Pharm courses in the RUHS Pharmacy 2026 exam, but candidates with a Rajasthan domicile shall be given preference.

Q:   What is the application fee for the RUHS pharmacy application form?

The application fee was INR 1,800 for the general/OBC category and INR 900 for SC/ST till last year. Now, students can expect a hike of 5% to 10%. The official notification will provide complete details about the RUHS pharmacy application fee.

 

 

Q:   Can I join RUHS - Rajasthan University of Health Sciences directly?
A: 

Yes, you can take direct admission in the college if you clear the cutoff. You don't have to go with any GDPI. After clearing the cutoff you get the admission offer from the college and within few days you have to pay full year fees in one installment to confirm your seat. 

Q:   I appeared for the RUHS BSc nursing exam last year. Can I again apply this year as well?
A: 

Yes, there is no restrictions on the number of attempts that a candidate can give to appear for the RUHS nursing exam. However, there is a lower age limit to appear for the exam. Candidates not less than 17 years of age can only apply for the RUHS nursing entrance.
