SSC GD Application Form 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) activated the window to edit SSC GD application form on January 8. The last date to edit the online form is January 10. SSC GD application form filling process closed on December 31. The link to fill the online form for SSC GD was activated on December 1 to fill up a total of 53690 vacancies.The last date to pay the SSC GD Constable 2026 application fee was January 1. Candidates were required to complete the SSC OTR Registration before applying. Read below for more details.

How to Fill SSC GD Application Form 2026?

Candidates need to fill SSC GD form in two parts - registration and application. To apply online for the Constable GD exam is shared below.

SSC GD Registration

  1. For one-time SSC GD Constable registration, candidates need to click on the ‘New user? Register Now' link on the home page
  2. During SSC GD Constable registration, candidates need to fill in the basic details, address details
  3. Provide information about Aadhaar number/Aadhaar enrollment number/identity card and its number
  4. Candidates need to fill in their name as given in the Class 10 certificate
  5. Fill in the father’s and mother’s names as given in the Class 10 certificate
  6. Candidates are also required to fill in their date of birth as given in the Class 10 certificate
  7. Candidates need to fill in details of their Class 10 exam during SSC GD Constable registration, which includes – the name of the education board, roll number and year of passing
  8. Enter gender, highest educational qualification, mobile number, email ID etc
  9. After filling in the basic details, candidates need to confirm their mobile number and email ID
  10. Upon confirmation, the registration ID and password will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email ID
  11. Candidates can proceed towards filling in the ‘Additional Details’ by clicking the Next button
  12. Candidates need to fill in Category, Nationality, Identification Mark, Temporary and Permanent Address
  13. Capture the live photo
  14. Upload scanned signature
  15. Upon clicking the ‘Final Submit’ different OTPs will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email ID
  16. Candidates need to enter the OTP to complete the registration process
  17. After the submission of basic information, if the registration process is not completed within 7 days, the data will be deleted from the system
  18. After completion of the registration process, basic details can be changed only once

SSC GD Constable Application Form

  1. Login to the registered account
  2. Candidates can change the password when asked to do the same
  3. Click the ‘Apply’ link in the SSC GD Constable section under the ‘Latest Notifications’ tab
  4. Information filled during SSC GD Constable registration will be auto-filled and are non-editable
  5. Candidates need to enter their preferences of exam centres. They can choose three exam centres in the order of preference
  6. Select Domicile State/ UT and District of Domicile
  7. Candidates need to give preference of CAPFs/ Organizations
  8. Candidates need to enter their highest qualification
  9. Information regarding photo/signature/biometric impression is filled automatically from one time SSC GD Constable registration data
  10. Candidates should pay the application fee online or SBI Challan
  11. Candidates need to complete their application process by clicking on ‘I Agree’ check box and fill the captcha code
  12. Take a printout of the SSC GD Constable application form for further reference

The SSC GD application fee is INR 100. However, women, SC, and ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from the fee payment.

Instructions for Capturing Live Photo for SSC GD Form

  • Find a place with good light and a plain background.
  • Ensure the camera is at your eye level.
  • Place yourself directly in front of the camera and look straight.
  • Your face should be fully inside the red rectangular area and it should be neither too close nor too far. It should cover the area fully.
  • Candidate must not wear a cap, mask, glasses/spectacles, earphones or any device.
  • No pre-existing photographs should be captured. All such applications where the pre-existing photograph are captured will be rejected.

Upload Signature: Size & Dimension

Document Required to Fill SSC GD Application Form 2026 

Candidates should keep the following documents ready for filling out the SSC GD Constable application form.

  • Aadhaar Card or Aadhaar Enrollment number
  • In case candidates do have an Aadhaar Card or Aadhaar enrollment number can enter details of their Voter ID Card, PAN, Passport, Driving License, School/College ID and Employer ID
