UGC NET 2025 June Session Begins Tomorrow

UGC NET 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to commence the UGC NET 2025 June session from June 25, 2025. Candidates appearing for the exam must know about the detailed schedule, exam day guidelines, and important instructions to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience. As per the schedule, the UGC NET 2025 is scheduled to be conducted between June 25 to 29 in computer-based test (CBT) in two shifts: 9 am to 12 pm and 3 to 6 pm. Candidates must check their UGC NET June admit card 2025 for the exact date, subject, and shift of their exam.

UGC NET 2025 June Session Schedule and Shift Timings

On day 1 of UGC NET exam, the following papers will be held in shift 1: Education, Public Administration, Indian Knowledge System, Malayalam, Urdu, Labour Welfare / Personnel Management / Industrial Relations / Labour and Social Welfare / Human Resource Management, Criminology, Tribal and Regional Language/Literature, Folk Literature, Konkani, Environmental Sciences.

Whereas in UGC NET 2025 day 1 shift 2 the exam will be held for Electronic Science, Japanese, Law, Mass Communication and Journalism, Nepali, Performing Art – Dance/Drama/Theatre, Sanskrit, Women Studies, Library and Information Science, Philosophy

The UGC NET exam will be conducted in two shifts per day:

• Shift 1: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Shift 2: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

UGC NET 2025 June Session Important Exam Day Guidelines

To ensure a hassle-free exam process, candidates are advised to follow the guidelines issued by the NTA:

UGC NET 2025 Reporting Time

• Candidates must reach the UGC NET exam centre at least 90 minutes before the scheduled start of their shift.
• Entry to the exam hall will close 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

Documents Required to carry at UGC NET Exam Centre

• A printed copy of the UGC NET Admit Card 2025.
• A valid photo ID proof (Aadhar card, PAN card, Passport, Voter ID, etc.).
• One passport-size photograph (same as uploaded in the application form).

Prohibited Items at UGC NET 2025 Exam Centre

Candidates are not allowed to carry the following:

• Electronic gadgets (mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, etc.)
• Stationery items (pen, paper, books, etc.)
• Bags, wallets, or any other personal belongings

Note: Pen and rough sheets will be provided at the exam centre.

• Read the instructions printed on the UGC NET admit card carefully.
• Avoid last-minute travel; plan the route to the centre.
