CTET 2026 Exam: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is schedule to conduct the CTET 2026 exam on September 6 at various centres across the country for both paper 1 and 2 in two shifts. CTET 2026: Important topics to revise in CDP
The CDP section in the CTET exam is a mandatory section for both papers; Paper 1 and 2. Its syllabus is divided into there main areas namely Child Development (Elementary School Child), Concept of inclusive education and Learning and Pedagogy. This section basically, test the knowledge and understanding of the candidate about the child psychology, development principles, learning process and educational practices. Also, the CDP section that focuses on the educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 6-11 years (for Paper 1) and 11-14 years (for Paper 2).
The CDP Syllabus is divided in to sections that is Child Development (15 questions), Inclusive Education (5 questions), and Learning & Pedagogy (10 questions). Candidates can prepare for CTET in ten days by practicing more through previous years papers and mock tests. Attempt at least two CTET question papers daily in the last one week of the exam.
150 is the maximum CTET score. There are 150 total marks in the CTET 2024 exam. As there is no negative marking, obtaining all 150 marks is regarded as the exam's the highest result. However, a candidate from the General category must receive at least 60% of the possible points in order to be eligible for the CTET exam. To pass the exam, applicants from reserved categories, such as SC, ST, and OBC, must receive a grade of at least 55%.
