UGC NET 2025 June 27 Analysis: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the June 27 exam in two shifts. Shift 1 is over at 12 PM. Shift 2 will conclude at 6 PM. The UGC NET 2025 Syllabus consists of two parts: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 has 50 multiple-choice questions, and Paper 2 has 100 subject-specific questions. The UGC NET 2025 exam for June session Shift 1 and 2 for June 27 is ongoing.

Q:   What are the minimum qualifying marks for the UGC NET 2025 exam?
A:

The minimum qualifying mark for the general category is 40% and for the reserved category is 35% for both papers. Usually, the UGC NET cutoff for the JRF is higher as compared to the assistant professor. Also, the difference between the cutoffs depends upon the difficulty level of the exam. 

Q:   What is the UGC NET 2025 expected cutoff for all subjects and categories?
A:

The UGC NET 2025 expected cutoff may fall within the range of 216 to 160 for all subjects and categories. The NTA will release the UGC NET 2025 Dec session cutoff marks after the declaration of the result. Candidates who will meet or exceed the cutoff marks will qualify for further recruitment process.

Q:   Does normalisation happen in UGC NET?
A:

Yes, the UGC NET follows the normalisation process to ensure fairness in the evaluation process. Basically, this process involves comparing the scores if aspirants who participate in the same examination but on different dates or in different sessions.

The NTA released the UGC NETadmit card 2025 for the December session exam. It was released on the official portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The admit card is a mandatory document thata needs to be carried at the examination centre by the candidate.

The UGC NET December session exam is ongoing. As per the students' feedback UGC NET January 2 Paper 1 was Moderate some felt that Assertion & Reasoning part was a bit difficult. Paper 1 was lengthy.
