Candidates need to follow the exam day guidelines for appearing in the exam, or else they will be disqualified from appearing in the exam. RRB NTPC UG Exam Day Guidelines 2026: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) released the RRB NTPC exam day guidelines 2026 for the CBT 1 exam for CEN NO. 07/2025 for the under graduate posts along with the admit card. The RRB NTPC UG exam will be conducted from May 7 to June 21. Candidates will be allowed to appear in the exam by carrying an hall ticket, a photograph, an original photo ID, etc. The NTPC UG exam day guidelines highlight all the required information that is from the documents that needs to be carried at the examination centre along with dress code, barred items in the exam hall, etc. These standard guidelines ensure uniformity and hence avoid any sort of confusion amongst students. RRB NTPC 2026 UG Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates can check below some of the RRB NTPC exam day guidelines for the under graduate posts.

  • Banned items are electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, pager, watches, Bluetooth, calculator, metallic wears, bangles, belts, bracelets, books, papers, etc are not allowed inside the exam centre.
  • Candidates should not carry pen/pencil inside the test centre.
  • Pen will be provide during the exam.
  • Candidates should not apply henna/Mehendi because there will be a biometric capture.
  • No candidates will be allowed inside the test centre after the gate closing time for the date and shift in the RRB NTPC admit card.
  • Candidates are advised to locate their test centre and its accessibility at least a day before the test, so that they can reach the centre on time on the day of the test.
  • Candidates must carry at least one original and valid photo identification card.
  • Candidates can view question papers in the language opted by them at the time of filling the RRB NTPC application form and in English Language.
  • Candidates must write their roll number and name on the rough sheets. The rough sheets have to be returned after the test.
  • During the exam, additional biometric LTI, photograph capture and attendance, including physical LTI and signature of the candidates, will be taken and no extra time will be given as this is a part of the exam process, etc.

The RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam is held for 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates accompanied by a scribe). The questions are based on General Awareness, Mathematics and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The exam is held for 100 marks.

The full form of NTPC is Non Technical Popular Categories. This exam is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board to appoint candidates as Commercial Apprentice, Goods guard, Traffic Apprentice, Traffic Assistant, Assistant Station Master, etc. All over India. The eligibility criteria prescribed for RRB NTPC is given below: Age limit: The age limit for undergraduate posts is 18 to 30 years. The age limit for graduate posts is 18 to 33 years. Educational qualification: For undergraduate posts, candidates must have passed Class 12. RRB NTPC Salary Railway Recruitment Board decides RRB NTPC salary structure. The basic pay of RRB NTPC Junior Clerk cum Typist is INR 19900 per month. RRB conducts the RRB NTPC exam to recruit candidates for various vacancies in the Indian Railways.

Candidates must check RRB NTPC 2026 exam day guidelines and prohibited items. Some of them are mentioned below:

The authority released the RRB NTPC 2026 Graduate posts answer key for CEN No. 06/2025 on April 6. The Graduate posts exam was conducted from March 16 to 27.
