Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has conducted the mains exam of IBPS RRB Clerk on October 20. The overall paper of IBPS RRB Clerk mains was moderate to easy. 

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has conducted the mains exam of IBPS RRB Clerk on October 20. The students who have appeared for the mains exam shared their feedbacks regarding the difficulty level of exam. According to students, the overall paper of IBPS Clerk mains was moderate to easy.

The mains exam of IBPS RRB Clerk comprised five sections – Reasoning, General Awareness, Numerical Ability, English/Hindi Language and Computer Knowledge. The duration of the test was 2 hours. Total marks of the test are 200.

Quantitative Aptitude

This section comprised 40 questions for 50 marks. The level of Quantitative Aptitude was moderate. There were four sets of Data Interpretation questions.

  • Caselet DI (Based on Year, 2012-2013, 2013-2014, 2014-2015)
  • Tabular DI (Based on Apple & Banana)
  • Double Pie Chart DI (Based on teaching & non-teaching staff)
  • Caselet DI (Based on sale of 2 wheelers, 3 wheelers & 4 wheelers)

The level of questions in English section was Easy to Moderate. There was one set of Reading Comprehension which consisted of 10 questions, out of which one question was based on filler. The topic of Reading Comprehension was Dolphin and Human Interaction. The Cloze test was based on Artificial Intelligence.

  • Floor Based Puzzle (9 Floors, single variable)
  • Box Based Puzzle (10 boxes)
  • Parallel Row Puzzle (North South direction, 7 people each side)
  • Month Based Puzzle (3 months, 2 dates, 6 people, 6 city)

IBPS RRB scorecard is required to be downloaded online only. There is no facility to check the same offline. It is released few days after the declaration of the result. Candidates can get it by logging with the required credentials.

There is no facility to recheck IBPS RRB result. The same announced by the examination authority is considered as final. The result is announced online. Candidates can check their results by logging with the required credentials.

IBPS RRB normalisation of marks is done since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts. This is followed to adjust the difficulty level of the questions across various sessions. The result and cut off are decided based on normalisation.
