SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2020
To apply for SBI PO exam, candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria.
- The age of candidates as on April 1, 2020, should be between 21 to 30 years
- Candidates must be a graduate from any discipline as on December 31, 2020
- Those who are in the final year/semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before December 31, 2020

What are the application fees?
Application fee is Rs 750 for General/ EWS/ OBC candidates. SC/ST/PWD candidates need not pay any application fees.

What is the selection process?
The selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a three-tier process as given below.
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
Phase-II: Main Examination
Phase-III: In view of the social distancing and safety measures necessitated due to COVID-19 pandemic, the 3rd Phase may comprise of (i) Interview only (50 marks) or (ii) Interview (30 marks) & Group Exercises (20 marks)
Final selection will be done based on the performance in Phase II and III.

What is the salary?
Presently, the starting basic pay is Rs 27,620 (with four advance increments) in the scale of 23,700-980/7-30,560-1,145/2-32,850-13,10/7-42,020 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will also be eligible for DA, HRA/ Lease rental, CCA, Medical and other allowances and perquisites as per rules in force from time to time (the emoluments are likely to be revised shortly). Yes. There is negative marking in the SBI PO exam in both Prelims and Mains for the objective-type questions. For every wrong answer 0.25 marks or 1/4th marks are deducted but for un attempted or skipped questions none of the marks are deducted.

The application fee for the SBI PO exam varies or differs as per the categories. For General and OBC category it is INR 750 and for SC/ST/PwBD there is no fee it is exempted.
