RRB Group D FAQs 2022: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) is conducting RRC Group D Level-I exam for over 1.15 crore applicants. The exam is conducted by the RRBs on behalf of Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs). RRB Group D exam dates 2022 have been announced. RRBs have released RRB Group D FAQs 2022 related to the exam timings, admit card, documents required, RRB Group D exam city, free travel authority and many more. Q. When will RRBs announce RRB Group D exam dates?
A. The exam dates have been announced by RRBs. The CBT Phase 1 exam will be conducted from August 17 to 25 for three RRCs.
Q. Why the recruitment process has been delayed for one year?
A. The delay in RRB Group D recruitment process is because the RRBs were yet to finalise the exam conducting agency.
Q. What was the original date of exam?
A. Initially, the exam was scheduled to be held in September or October 2019.

Q. When will I get RRB Group D admit card?
A. RRB Group D admit card will be issued to the registered candidates on August 13 for Phase 1.
Q. When will I know my exam city?
A. RRB Group exam city slip has been released on August 9. To check the exam city slip, candidates need to enter user ID and password.
Q. How can I download my RRB Group D admit card?
A. Candidates can download the admit card online from the respective official websites of RRBs by entering user ID and password.
Q. Will I get travel pass for appearing in the exam?
A. Free sleeper class railway pass will be given to SC/ST candidates. The travel pass will be attached along with the admit card.

RRC Group D FAQs related to exam centre
Q. What measures will Railways take at the exam centre to prevent the spread of COVID-19?
A. Railways will take measures such as related to social distancing, sanitization of exam venues, biometric/frisking, etc. to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Q. What are the items banned inside the exam centre?
A. Electronic gadgets like mobile phones, blue tooth, pen drive, laptops, calculators, wrist watches or any other communication devices or pen/pencil, wallet/purses, belts, shoes and metallic wears including ornaments etc. are not allowed inside the exam centre.
Q: What documents should I carry inorder to book tickets against free travel authority?
A: Candidates should carry city intimation advice/free travel authority and original caste certificate uploaded at the time of registration and ID proof.

Q. In which mode the exam will be conducted?
A. RRB Group D exam will be conducted in online mode.
Q. What is the exam pattern for CBT?
A. The CBT is a 90 minute test and comprises 100 questions from General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness & Current Affairs.

Q: In how many shifts RRB Group D exam will be conducted?
A: RRB Group D exam will be conducted in three shifts per day.
Q: What are RRB Group D shift timings?
A: The shift 1 of RRB Group D will begin at 9 am while the exam for the second shift will start at 12.45 pm. The exam for the third shift will begin at 5 pm.
Q. Will there is multi-stage CBT or single-stage CBT?
A. This will be informed by the exam conducting authority.
Q. What is the minimum qualifying marks for CBT?
A. The minimum qualifying marks for different categories is given below:

Q. Is there any negative marking?
A. Yes, there are negative marking of 1/3 marks.
Q. What is Physical Efficiency Test (PET)?
A. PET is conducted for the qualified candidates of CBT. It is mandatory to clear the exam. Male candidates will be given to lift and carry 35 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in two minutes in one chance without putting the weight down. They will have to run for a distance of 1000 metres in four minutes and 15 seconds in one chance. Female candidates will be given to lift weight of 20kg for a distance of 100 metres in two minutes on one chance without putting the weight down. They will be given to run a distance of 1000 meters in five minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.

The RRB extended the last date to apply for the RRB Group D exam CEN no. 09/2025. Earlier, the last date was March 2. It was extended to March 9. The fee payment last date was March 11, 2026.

The Railway Recruitment Board has released the RRB Group D Answer Key 2026 on the regional websites of Railways. Candidates can download it by using their user ID and password. Along with the answer key, RRB Group D response sheet and question papers also released.

As per the experts, in RRB Group D exam, good score can be considered as 75+. Candidates can aim 85+ which is considered safe due to high competition. The Board released the RRB Group D Answer Key for CEN No. 08/2024 on the Raiwalys regional websites on Feb 17. Also, along with the response sheet question papers also released along with RRB Group D provisional answer key.

RRB Group D application form 2026 was released on January 31. Earlier, it was planned to be released on January 21. The last date to fill the application form was March 9. Applications were accepted online for the exam.
