RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam Analysis Today 2022: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are conducting RRB NTPC CBT 2 2022 for level 2, 3 and 5 till June 17. The exam is being conducted in three shifts across multiple exam centres in the country. The overall paper of RRB NTPC stage 2 was moderate to difficult. The students who had appeared in the exam said that the overall paper of stage 2 was tough compared to the exam held for level 4 and 6. The questions in General Awareness were based on the current affairs of 2021. Most of the questions in GA were based on Art and Culture, and Geography questions were based on ports. In Reasoning, questions were asked from Puzzles, Assertion, Seating Arrangement, etc. In Quant, questions were asked from Arithmetic, Data Interpretation, etc. As the paper was tough, the cutoff will be less.  A total of 7,05,446 candidates have been shortlisted for RRB NTPC 2022 Stage 2 exam.

RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam Pattern 2022

RRB NTPC exam pattern 2022 for the second stage CBT is such that it is divided into three sections-General Questions Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The test carries a total of 120 questions. The duration of the test is 90 minutes (120 minutes is given to PwBD candidates). The structure of CBT 2 exam is given below.

A:

RRB NTPC exam comprises subjects such as Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness. The subjects included in CBT 1 and 2 are the same. However, the difficulty level varies as per the stage of exam. The CBT 1 exam of RRB NTPC is conducted for 100 marks. The CBT 2 exam of RRB NTPC is held for 120 marks. A:

The first stage CBT of RRB NTPC comprises questions from General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The test paper carries a total of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions. The first stage CBT is qualifying in nature. The test carries 100 marks. Rajveer Pratap Singh said, "The paper was tough in terms of difficulty level. The GK and current affairs were of PCS level. The Reasoning and Quant questions were lengthy. In aptitude, questions were asked from profit and loss, partnership, etc. In GK, questions were asked from Art and Culture, History, World Geography, etc. From Current Affairs, around 8 to 10 questions were asked."

Shiv Mohan said, "The paper was of easy to moderate level. In Maths, questions were asked from Simplification, Time and Work, DI, etc. In GK, History, Constitution, etc. Current Affairs questions were from 2021 events. In Reasoning, questions were asked from Seating Arrangement."

Responsible for traffic and signal. Candidates need to work in different shifts.

Goods Guard

Monitor the functioning of the vehicle, check the loose ends in the train, identify and address minor issues while the train is moving, ensure brake continuity, coordinate with the Station Master in terms of communicating information regarding arrival and departure of trains.

Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk

The important changes announced in the selection process of RRB NTPC are highlighted below:

General Instructions

In case of the shortfall in empanelment of candidates or other exigencies, RRB reserves the right to utilize the candidates down the merit list if required, as per the merit and option given by them. 

Recruitment Process

Candidates who are shortlisted for CBT 2 availing the reservation benefits of OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, PwBD, and ExSM will not continue to be considered only against OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, PwBD, and ExSM for all subsequent stages of recruitment process.

Document Verification

Based on the performance of candidates in CBT 2 only or in both CBT 2 and CBAT/TST (as applicable), candidates equal to the number of vacancies are called for document verification in the order of merit. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their passing requisite Medical Fitness Test to be conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and community certificates, and verification of antecedents/character of the candidates. 

Navjot said, "The paper was moderate and time taking. The Maths questions were lengthy. The GK was moderate and current affairs questions were from 2019, 2020 and 2021 events."

Kumar Shankar Yadav said, "The paper was moderate. The Maths questions were calculative and most of the questions were asked from Arithmatic, Trigonometry. GK questions were from 2021 events. In Reasoning questions were asked from Puzzles, etc."

RRB NTPC Exam Analysis 2022 for Level 4 and 6

RRB NTPC CBT 2 2022 was conducted on May 9 and 10 for level 4 and 6. The stage 2 exam was conducted for candidates who have qualified the CBT 1 exam. According to the feedback shared by candidates, the overall difficulty level for all the shifts held on May 9 and 10 was moderate. The General Awareness section was easy to moderate. The Maths and General Intelligence and Reasoning sections were moderate to difficult.

Shiksha reported live from one of the RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam centres in Noida. Check below the feedback shared by the students on the difficulty level of the exam.

Deepak Jain, who has applied for RRB NTPC Level 6 post said, "The overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate as per RRB NTPC stage 2 exam analysis. Questions asked in Maths section were moderate. The General Intelligence and Reasoning questions were of banking level. The questions asked in GK were based on the national and international events that took place in 2021. Questions in GK were asked about forms of dances, ancient history and many more."

Lokesh Sharma said, "I have applied for RRB NTPC Level 6 post. According to me the paper of RRB NTPC Stage 2 was moderate. The cutoff of CBT 2 might go upto 80 percentile. In GK, questions were asked from the previous year's current affairs."

Deepak Jain said, "The difficulty level of the paper was moderate. The paper was not that difficult. All the sections were of moderate level."

Ashish Kumar said, "According to RRB NTPC exam analysis today, the level of the paper was moderate but it was lengthy. The GA questions asked in the exam were difficult. The Maths section was lengthy. RRB NTPC cutoff 2022 for stage 2 is expected to be less compared to CBT 1 exam."

Nitesh Kumar Nayar said, "I found the RRB NTPC Stage 2 paper to be tough and Maths questions were a bit calculative. Most of the questions in Maths were asked from Puzzles. The currents affairs questions were a bit tricky. I have attempted 97 questions. The questions in GK were asked from the current affairs of 2020-21. There were maximum questions from Seating Arrangement in Reasoning section."

RRB NTPC Stage 2 2022 Important Instructions

Candidates can check below few important points related to RRB NTPC Stage 2 exam:

  • Candidates had to report to the RRB NTPC exam centre well in advance of the reporting time indicated on e-call letter to complete activities such Aadhaar linked Biometric Authentication of the candidates, capture of biometric (LTI) and photo, collection of documents, announcement of instructions and logging in, etc.
  • No candidates were allowed inside the test centre after the gate closed
  • Candidates were not allowed to carry electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, pager, watches, Bluetooth, calculator, metallic wears, bangles, belts, bracelets, books, papers, etc.
  • Candidates were also not allowed to carry pen/pencil inside the test centre
  • Pens were provided to candidates during the exam
