Q:   When was the SSC CGL 2024 notification released?

The SSC CGL 2024 notification was released online. The last date to apply online was July 24, 2024. The SSC CGL applications was also start with the release of official notification. The Commission released the SSC CGL 2024 notification pdf online only. The SSC CGL 2024 exam will be conducted from September 09 to 26, 2024. The Commission will release the official answer key (tentative) within a week of the exam. The candidates will be required to send the objections against the incorrect answers.

Q:   What were the SSC CGL 2023 Tier 2 Dates?
A: 

The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam dates on August 19. But later the Commission while releasing the SSC CGL admit card declared that SSC CGL Tier 2 exam will be conducted on October 26 ad 27.  The Commission will conduct the SSC CGL 2023 Tier 2 exam as a Computer-Based Exam (CBE) at the designated exam centres. The Commission is expected to release the SSC CGL Tier 2 admit card from October 20 onwards. 

SSC CGL 2023 Tier 1 exam was conductd from July 4 to 27 and the tentative answer key was released on August 1. The Commission is expected to release the SSC CGL 2023 Tier 1 result soon on its official website - ssc.nic.in.

Q:   Is graduation necessary for SSC CGL 2023 exam?
A: 

Yes, the minimum educational qualification require to fill the SSC CGL 2023 application is a graduate degree from a recognised university. The candidates appearing in their final year of graduation can also apply subject to certain conditions.

The Staff Selection Commission announced the SSC CGL Result 2025-26 at ssc.gov.in. The exam was held on January 18 and 19. It consists of the information about the candidates roll number of the qualified candidates in the form of PDF.

The Tier 1 cut off for the SSC CGL 2026 exam will be released at ssc.gov.in along with the result. Also, it will be issued category and post-wise for the SSC CGL exam.

The SSC CGL cut off 2025-26 for Tier 2 was released on April 8, 2026 along with the final result for Tier 2. The Tier 2 exam was conducted on January 18-19, 2026. It was released category and post-wise cutoff PDF. It was released on the official portal at ssc.gov.in.

No. The Tier 1 marks for the SSC CGL are not used in the preparation of the final merit list. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is qualifying in nature. Candidates are shortlisted for Tier 2 exam. However, the final selection and ranking is based on the marks obtained in the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam.
