Know what students had to say about the section-wise difficulty level of UPTET paper-II below:
Anuj: My paper went good. Both Science and Maths questions were easy. However, some questions from Chemistry were tough. Questions from English and Hindi were of moderate difficulty level. Overall, the difficulty level of the paper was medium but as compared to last year’s exam this year’s UPTET paper was easier.
Himanshu: I had opted for Social Science subject and my paper went good. As compared to previous years’ UPTET question papers, this year’s exam was easier.
Anshu: I appeared for both UPTET and CTET and I found the latter easier. In languages sections of UPTET exam, this year, I found the English section easier as compared to Hindi section. However, I found the most difficulty in attempting Child Development & Pedagogy questions. There were no teaching aptitude questions in this section of UPTET exam. However, in Child Development & Pedagogy section of CTET exam there were many questions on teaching aptitude. UPTET paper focused more on Social Science subject. Overall, I found the paper moderate to difficult.
Lalit: For me, Science section of UPTET paper-II was tough. However, I could attempt Mathematics and Hindi questions easily. As compared to previous years’ papers, I found UPTET 2019 paper-II more difficult but I managed to complete my paper half an hour before the end of the exam. I have already qualified UPTET exam last year but appeared for it again this year to improve my scores.
Vaishali: I am a B.Ed second year student. I found UPTET exam easy. However, as compared to last three years’ UPTET paper, I found UPTET 2019 difficult. For me, the most difficult section in the exam was Science. I had also given CTET this year. As compared to CTET, I found UPTET exam three times harder.
Pooja: The exam was good but the sections of Maths, Science and Child Psychology were a bit hard. Rest all other sections in the exam were easy. As compared to previous years’ papers, the exam was good.
Savita: I had also appeared for CTET December 2019 exam. As compared to CTET, UPTET 2019 exam was difficult. Be it Child Psychology or Social Science, both the sections were difficult as compared to CTET exam. Questions from Hindi and English sections were of moderate difficulty level. Overall, I found the UPTET paper-II tough as I would not be able to score good in the most scoring section of the exam, which is Social Science.
