CUET UG Physics exam 2025 has started and will be conducted between 13 May and 03 June 2025 across 300 cities in India and abroad. The exam is being conducted in CBT mode. A:

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) sample papers are released by the conducting body, National Testing Agency (NTA). To download the CUET sample papers and previous year question papers candidates can get the direct link on this website. To download the CUET question papers candidates must refer the steps mentioned below:

Step 4- Create the login credentials for new registrations

Q:   Is it compulsory to attempt all the sections of the CUET question paper?
A:

CUET UG section I and section II, consisting of the language and domain-wise subjects are compulsory to attempt. On the other hand, the third section consisting of General Knowledge and aptitude questions is not compulsory to attempt unless it is the requirement of the programme the candidate has applied for. Candidates will have to choose the subjects while filling the CUET UG application form. In case candidates do not opt for the General Test, then they will be evaluated only based on their performance in Section 1 and Section 2 as per the requirement of the course and university that candidate has applied for. NTA will use the normalisation method to score candidates and universities will prepare the merit lists accordingly.

CUET 2025 Physics Exam Date & Timings

National Testing Agency is conducting CUET UG Physics exam 2025 in two slots (9 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm). Candidates can find their CUET 2025 physics exam duration on the CUET city slip and admit card. This year, the Common University Entrance Test for each subject is being conducted on different dates and slots, in multiple cities.

Q:   What type of questions are asked in the CUET exam?
A:

CUET questions are objective and multiple-choice questions (MCQs) type. The number of questions will vary for each subject or section and paper. There will not be any descriptive question type for CUET UG 2025. Candidates can check the below table to know about CUET Exam Structure:

Q:   When are CUET previous year question papers released?
A:

CUET previous year question papers have been released for CUET 2024. National Testing Agency releases the CUET previous year question papers for all subjects and languages. Candidates preparing for CUET must download the previous year question papers to become familiar with the CUET exam pattern and the difficulty level of the question paper. NTA releases the CUET question papers for Languages, Domain subjects and General test seperately. No pre registrations are required to download the CUET previous year question papers. 

CUET 2025 will be scheduled tentatively in May/June in CBT mode. CUET previous year question papers for 2024 is available for downlaod. Candidates can download the CUET 2024 question papers here

Q:   How can I check CUET answer key online?
A:

To check the CUET answer key online, candidates must follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CUET - cuet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the 'Provisional CUET 2025 Answer Key' tab

Step 3: Screen will now display the CUET UG 2025 provisional answer key in PDF format.

Step 4: Save and download the CUET answer key

Q:   When can I challenge the CUET answer key?
A:

CUET UG answer key challenge window will open tentatively in first week of July 2025. Candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to raise objections against the CUET UG answer key within the stipulated period of time. Candidates will have to pay the non-refundable fee of INR 200 for each question challenged. The CUET UG provisional answer key is displayed for two to three days. Only paid challenges made during the given period will be considered for revision. On the basis of the objections received, CUET UG 2025 final answer key will be released tentatively in last week of July 2025 at cuet.samarth.ac.in. NTA will not confirm the outcome of the CUET answer key challenges made. CUET UG 2025 result will be computed on the basis of the CUET final answer key 2025.

Q:   When will the CUET final answer key be released?
A:

National testing Agency will release the CUET 2025 final answer key before the announcement of results. NTA releases the revised CUET answer key based on the objections received at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates are given oppotunity to challenge the CUET UG answer key 2025 within three days window. The date to challenge the answer key is June 20. Only paid challenges made during the stipulated period will be considered. CUET answer key challenges without justification/evidence and those filed on any other medium other than the prescribed link for CUET UG will not be considered. CUET UG 2025 results will be compiled based on the final answer key. Candidates will not get the outcome of the challenges received.

May 30, Shift 1 CUET Physics Analysis:

The CUET 2025 May 30 Shift 1 Physics exam was easy to moderate in difficulty level. According to the test takers, NTA is following the same pattern in every shift of CUET Physics Paper 2025.

May 29, Shift 2 CUET Physics Analysis:

Students rated CUET UG 2025 Physics paper, conducted on May 29, Shift 2, as moderate. Some questions were lengthy, while others were easily solvable with conceptual knowledge and use of formulas.

May 29, Shift 1 CUET Physics Analysis:

The CUET UG 2025 Physics Question Paper for May 29, Shift 1 was easy to moderate. Students from the Gurugram exam centre found 2-4 lengthy questions in the exam. Some students were able to solve them quickly, while others took time to attempt those questions. Candidates are advised to first attempt the questions they are confident in and require less time. Once all the easy questions are done, they can move forward with the rest.

May 28, Shift 2 CUET Physics Analysis:

Students rated CUET May 28, Shift 2 Physics exam's difficulty level as easy to moderate. Many students found the second shift question paper lengthy due to the more weightage given to numerical-based questions.

May 28, Shift 1 CUET Physics Analysis:

The difficulty level of CUET 2025 May 28 Shift 1 Physics Question Paper was easy to moderate. The question pattern was similar to the past days' physics question paper. 2-3 questions were tricky and had difficult language, which took the candidates time to understand. Some questions required knowledge of more than one topic.

May 27, Shift 2 CUET Physics Analysis:

Students rated the difficulty level of CUET 2025 Physics May 27, Shift 2 exam as easy to moderate. The question paper included concept-based questions. Also, in some centres, the CUET May 27, Shift 2 physics question papers had more questions from modern physics, while question papers at other centres focused more on Ray Optics and Electrostatic Potential.

May 22, Shift 1 CUET Physics Analysis:

According to students, the physics exam for shift 1, conducted on May 22, was moderately difficult. The physics paper included questions from the NCERT book. Both direct formula and formula-based questions were seen in the Shift 1 exam.

Good Attempt: 48-50

May 21, Shift 2 CUET Physics Analysis:

The Shift 2 exam held on May 21 was easy to moderate. NCERT-based questions were asked in the exam. Students with good preparation were able to answer the questions within 60 minutes.

May 21, Shift 1 CUET Physics Analysis:

Students found CUET physics question paper 2025 for May 21, Shift 1, easy to moderate. The paper included more theory-based questions. Around 7-8 questions required calculation and 4-5 questions required ratio knowledge.

May 20, Shift 1 CUET Physics Analysis:

The CUET 2025 physics question paper on May 20, Shift 1, was easy. Students were able to complete the exam on time. The question paper included NCERT-based questions, and no out-of-syllabus questions were present. Candidates who have taken the exam advise other students to practice from CUET Physics Previous Years Question Papers and mock tests.
